Stock C6 Z06 Hitting 200mph!
Hey Gang,
Loved my modded E55 K2, but this monster is insane. Look at the tach as they bang the gears and how easily it hits 200mph They never get into 6th gear!
Enjoy and keep it safe this Holiday Weekend

You would have to be doing this on a runway cause there's no roads in the US that will allow you to go this fast with a stock Vette susp. Transverse monosprings are pitiful. That's what's keeping me from considering it. The first thing that I would do is put a decent coilover on it. It would truely be world class then. I wonder when GM is going to wake up and get with the program.

MB 2006 CLS55 K4/LSD, 2006 VY C6Z06, 2005 X5 4.4
This car is a monster I have had mine for a month, and it pulls hard and accelerates faster then my CLS55 K4. My Benz use to scare me, but after the vette, the Benz isn't scary at all. I got the Z06 up 150 in four gear at about 6500 rpm (7K redline). I can only wonder what a few mods will do to it?\

You know, from watching this video, I could swear that my speedometer climbs to 90-100 just as fast at WOT ( especialluy after that neat little trick used to reset the ECU, you know, holding the gas pedal down for 5 seconds with the car off - really works!! ). I know the Z06 is faster, but the video?...hmm

That looks like a bullet ... esp up to 140mph...
although looks like he gets to an indicated 190 before he has to back off ? Amazing how much the longer ratios and exponentially higher wind resistance kill the acceleration ...

I saw a show on Discovery HD recently that mentioned that when Chip Foose did a one off version of the caddy xlr he used a Eibach coilover that was custom made for that vehicle. It looked as good as it gets. Nicely engineered. I wonder if they are making one for the Vette?
