Headers for Rignt hand drive E55...

Guys...I think I have made big mistake...

I have bought those Headers from Australia and later got in contact with the guy who actually produces them and HE told ME that they never tried to install those headers on LEFT hand drive E55s...and he would instedted to see if they would fit...

I know Right hand drive headesr for M5 were a bit different...

So I am worring now if those HEADERS will fit my LEFT hand drive E55 ??? Is there any difference btw

Anyones knows if Kleemann headers are diff for right hand drive cars ??? Did Evosport supplied any Headers for for Right hand drive E55's and if they FIT ???

I have no idea, but why not call Kleemann or Evosport and ask them if there are different part number for left and right hand side drive cars. If they say no, then it would seem that the headers would fit both.

I think I might be able to help, I was at Kleeman Uk yesterday having a K1 install, during which I enquired about the headers as my next mod, if I recall correctly, I remember something being said, about how the headers had to be modified to fit a right hand drive car, because the Kleeman headers were made for left hand drive cars.
So that would mean there is only one type of header Kleeman make.

I can't answer your question, but I live in Australia.

Who did you buy them from and how much where they?

thanks

Whether a header fits or not is based on its design. The Kleemann headers area longer tube design and slightly bigger primary tubes. Because of this they had to put a dent into the driver's side header in order to clear the steering rack. With Kleemann headers you would have to create the same dent on the passenger side header if you want to install it on a right hand drive car.

As for the Evosport headers; they should fit on a right hand drive car because the profiles of both headers are similar. The australian headers you are talking about are similar in design to Evo so they should fit. When you go to install them, make sure they try YOUR driver's side first. If it clears the steering rack, it should be fine on the other side.
