K2 vs K4 -- Is it a BIG difference - any experience appreciated?
Just had my K2 done and lov'in it!! My ? is: Will going to a K4 be a big noticeable difference, or is it purely upper end Hp and will only be noticed running thru the gears doing a 1/4 mile at the track??
ie: upper- end Hp (high revs) may be useless in the city as you have to be doing 80+ mph just to wind out 2nd gear!
Is the $8500 better used in other areas for performance enhancements
Any help appreciated!

If K2 takes you to 570-580hp at the crank then I would expect K4 to take you to 610- 630hp. I would not expect the butt dyno to notice a big difference. The highest trap speed I have seen on an E55 (without N2O2) is 123MPH. K2 cars can accomplish this. I have not seen a K4 car run a higher trap speed.
Someone prove me wrong.

I have k4 installed in my e55 and make 500rwhp,and 640rwtq .The car makes so much torque that even with esp on it cannot control the spinning.Cory at Kleemans states that the computer is having problem compensating for that amount of torque, not to mention the fact that after looking on my dyno sheet he thinks its one of the strongest yet.........but to answer your question, yes the k4 makes a difference.Especially on top.....the car charges like a bull with k4.

To my knowledge, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON with K3 or K4 has stepped up to the plate and run their frickin' car at a track. Dyno's are fun but outside of tuning and showing before/after, they are useless.
Put it on the track and you'll find out if $7k camshafts are worth it or not. Will someone PLEASE step up?
