K2/lsd/bfg dr ran 13.06 and 13.10 1/4mile?????

Ok guys went to the strip for the first time last night and ran the car twice. The first run I couldnt get a burn out (forgot esp on!!!) The times were Reaction time .647, 60ft 2.061, 660ft 8.464 and the et was 13.061 at 104.770Now the car was in s mode in comfort suspension, I have the k2, lsd and a set of 275/35/18 bfg drags. My gal was in the car as well and weighs 105lbs. The second run I have a great burn out and turn esp off and keep it off. The times are reac .276, 60ft 2.178, 660ft 8.541, et 13.102 mph 107.498. The thing is I was racing a c5 z06 both times the first he missed a shift and ran a 13.9 or something the second time he put his gal in the car and ran a 13.3 and he has an air intake and maybe exhaust not much else? What is going on I seem to be slower then some of the stock e55's. The track sits at 5320ft above sea level. I had the rear tires at 25psi and the car sat over an hour between runs with the hood open. Its about 85-90 degrees here. I also had about a half tank give or take a line. Now I didnt power brake or anything light goes green and I went. Also some of the guys there told me that they do not prep this track with vht or something like that. There was a ford lighting with a blower and nos running a 12.26 all night. Is my car broken or do I just suck as a driver? My dyno from cory was 544hp and 598lbft so I do have a weaker e55 to start with. My stock dyno was 444hp and 476lbft

Something is wrong. Screw the et, your trap speed is the concern. If you are not trapping at 116+ something needs looked into. Was your ECU reset during any recent recall warranty service? Do you have the Bosch ic pump or did you also upgrade the ic pump with K2?

I had my ecu sent to kleemann twice in the last month for the cel that is on. I am wondering if they did something trying to remove the cel and messed up the k2 program. I left cory an email to see whats going on. I am going to dyno the car next week to see whats up. I have done the ecu reset will that do anything.

5,500 feet doesn't help.... that could take off 2-3MPH, the extra 100 pounds of weight for your extra rider is worth 1-2 MPH, 90 degree weather is worth 2MPH.... you had some disadvantagaes with regards to pulling a perfect run.... those factors could be worth 6-7 MPH altogether...

post your dyno sheet showing power at the wheels...

No, that will not alter the K2 program.

Again, did you change the ic pump?

If you had the BFG DR's at 25psi that is to high. I would start at 20 or so and keep going down until you start going slower.

But aside from that something is wrong with the car for sure, you can't be that bad of a driver!

No, I didnt change the ic pump. After talking to Cory I run the same climate he does for the most part so we didnt feel I would need as much as other areas. My temp gauge stays the same all the time even after the runs it never changed. I also do not have a dyno at the wheels just the one from kleeman which is at the crank if I recall. I will go in on Monday and have a dyno done. Is there any way to know if my ic pump is bad? What should I be running at 5320ft? I mean I thought I would be low 12's or even break 11's with all the money on the k2,lsd and bfg drags. It was sad and I know some of the people there thought I was doing ok but like I said it sucked. Any ideas on what could be wrong or if my ic pump is bad how much will I lose or if my k2 program is gone how much power will I lose?

5300 ft is the reason but at 90 degrees you are at a density adjusted 9,100 feet. Each 1,000 feet is like 0.1 off your ET and -1 MPH. So if you ran a 13.0@107 give yourself a 12.1@116 at sea level condistions and if you get your 60-foot down from 2.17 to 1.85 and you would be at 11.6-11.8 or so.

I would re-dyno the car however. 544 wrhp is not right. If you had that much power you would have run a mid 12 with this high density adjusted altitude.

If you dynoed your car at the stip the other day you would have likely seen 370-390 rwhp ...each +1,000 feet is like losing 10rwhp.

544 hp is from the kleemann dyno from what i understand that is crank. so take 20% off of that.

gotcha, I would ask them to give you the original rear wheel dyno plot with the A/F curve. I think your car is fine...its all your 60-foot and the elevation.
