Spare wheel in the trunck -- keep or remove?

Have you guys removed the spare wheel in the trunck to reduce weight, or kept it there for safety reasons? I still haven't removed mine but thinking to do so.

my 2005 euro e55 didnt come with a spare. Dealer told me this is normal and instead i have this little canister that you use to inflate a flat tyre temporarily...

I guess a better question would be:
1) Do you have a problem with leaving your car on the highway?
2) Do you mind having AAA towing it on the crappie tow trucks?

Why would you ever take it out, unless if you were stripping it for some serious fun.

Light to light, the weight in the low rear will HELP. Haha. My car is FASTER out of the gate with a rear passenger. An LSD will fix that real quick (hehe).

Anyhow, I'd keep it as is. The setup as is is pretty minimal .

Good one, I only take it out if I'm at the track.

Yup yup. Hey Jay have you dragged 1/4 yet? If so, what's difference? Do you see much difference in that much weight at the 1/8th track?

can't find any 1/4 mile track in SD, I think Carlsbad raceway is closed. Ling and I are planning to go to the next qualcomm racelegal event to improve our 1/8th mile time.

My car never came with one. If it did, I'd leave it in.
