Can someone confirm that the height adjustment can be done via the Steering wheel controls by going into one of the submenus on the console?? This is an awesome feature if it is true.

. Height adjustment is done with the control module using a flat head screwdriver.
. Height adjustment is done with the control module using a flat head screwdriver. So, my assumption is that the module sits with the AMG module?
Also, does anyone know how or if you can customize the unit to raise at a certain speed? This is really the only advantage I see for the module, as I will be able to drop the car for looks at low speed and have it raise to a working level at speed. Other than this, Why not just drop it by messing with the links?
a) You cannot adjust height by using the steering wheel. (going in menu, selecting height). THIS IS COMPLETELY UNTRUE.
b) There is no adjustments knobs outside the ELM. The knobs are in the ELM. You adjust it by using a screwdriver and adjusting the knobs inside the ELM.
c) IT IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY.
Right now i only have 10 modules for an introductory offer. Please email me your address and confirmation order so i can give you a CC auth form to fill out and fax to Kronen Tuning. Please hurry.
The car has 3 stages but I am not sure if stage 1 is stock or stage 1 of lowered status.
Stay tuned.

a) Renntech module does not behave like the Carlsson C-tronic whereby the car will raise 1/4 inch on highway speeds.
b) There are four knobs in the Renntech module. The 3 knobs are used for height adjustments and the last knob is used for setting 1,2 and 0.
1-ABC
2-Airmatic
0- off.
Again, ABC is adjusted at all four corners and AIRMATIC the opposite.
I wanted to clear up some items as I just finished talking to RENNTech about their module(as Kronan had as well). The idea about the car being lowered via the steering wheel is 100% false. You need to use the knobs on the module for adjustment – read on.
The ECU plugs in to the same location as the AirMatic ECU and that is located in the passenger foot well. This location will be different for different chassis but the W211 ECU is located in the passenger foot well area.
The computer needs to be installed by a skilled technician capable of working with soldering wires and ensuring a quality connection for all wiring (i.e. good skills and proper shrink wrapping of the connections). Failure due to poor workmanship during installation can’t be warranted so making sure we all go to a quality location for installation is very important – Kronan qualifies of course!
The adjustments go well beyond just 3 steps as mentioned by Jangy before. Instead there are 9 levels of adjustment for each ride height sensor (ABC has 4 ride height sensors but I am unsure as to the adjustability of both left and right in the rear of the vehicle. It may be just 1 control for both rear wheels – I will learn more soon).
The module has 4 plastic knobs and each knob has 9 positions or selections. The uses of each knob are as follows.
4 knobs: (in no specific order as I am not sure which does what)
1) Right front wheel level control
2) Left Front wheel level control
3) Rear axle level control
4) Mode selection (Off, AirMatic setting, ABC setting) - the rest of the positions are blank.
As for reverting to stock at a speed, this speed is not something the customer can select and it is programmed into the unit at production. I do not have an exact figure on the speed at which this takes place but I will know soon. When I know the speed I will let everyone know.
The computer is the same for both Airmatic cars and ABC cars so the AirMatic selection is where you would want the knob to be positioned for having the unit activated and off is for when you want to shut the system off all together.
Please feel free to ask me any questions and I will gladly answer. If I can not answer a question I will inquire as quickly as possible.
