Another new E55 owner!
Hi everyone-
Yesterday I became a proud owner of an extremely low mileage 2005 Flint Grey/Charcoal E55!
I've been lurking here for the last few years reading up...
I'm based in the Chicago area... I know Marcus Frost from a while back...
I hope to continue reading informative posts from fellow members here.

Mods...
I think some mods would be fun... I think lowering it slightly, would help the lean issue a ton but I don't want the ride to get harsh- I have other cars for that kind of driving. See here for details.
I do know I want to increase the intercooling capacity of the stock system, and add the MHI/UHI kit some time (dealer wants $2400 w/Bluetooth- I declined...). Clearbra and minor window tint is getting applied on Tuesday.
The 80mm TB and headers are interesting, although I want to see more information on those- but I don't like coatings because I've seen them flake off after several heat cycles. I'm more of a fan of this style of thermal barrier which I have has given me significantly better longevity.
Oh, and I forgot- I definitely want to look deeper into a performance LSD like the Quaife. I'm not into "one wheeler peelers."
In any case, I'm here to learn... Cheers everyone!

The RENNTEch lowering module is new and being sold at a discounted "introductory" price of about $1150 to $1200 depending on vendor. Give it a thought. I also want the bluetooth. My jeep has it and I am hooked.
Sounds like you have a plan. We all started with a simple tint. LOL, then it just gets deeper.
