hwy M's. i will put my $ on a stage 2 + e55 anyday, anywhere & anytime-you can pick the tuner. let's see what happens w/ a Klee/RENN/Evo takes a run at a //M-esp. stock we are just about even/slight ahead at stock. use to have a Dinan M5-the thought of running against a tuned 55 would make me worry much more than against a mod //. my opinion...

if u get an adrenaline rush going from 30-105 then u should not be driving an e55, it is unsafe for other road users
from 130- 160+ yeah, after 150 everything kinda narrows a little and u start feeling kinda in danger or what not, especially when there is a fair bit of traffic

I still think I'd take the E55's torque over the M5's high revving hp. It seems like the E55 has more usable power whereas the M5/M6 is only good if you are stupid enough to go up to dangerous speeds like that. It seems useless in the streets and the M5's advantage doesn't kick in soon enough at the drag strip. Plus, from what I've seen so far the E55 is much more tunable.

im thinkin about getting an m6, the handling of that car is so much fun that i am ready to give up torque!!! You can just fly in any corner at any speed! Although i will never forget my 55 torque, and i will defenetly will be looking forward to E63 with TT motor!!
