NICE... one more small thing you could to make your car look even hotter...
Smoke the damn white lense of your taillights... just like the 210 E55.
Either way... black car rules Always love black cars except maintaining them...

handsome car, mate. i bought my '05 e55 wagon at keyes on labor day 2005, and had a great salesguy too. that's a very aggressive dealership on price, which was fine by me!
mine's black too. would love to know how you lowered yours, as i've been entertaining doing the same thing. on the other hand, when it's parked somewhere and the suspension has settled a bit, it looks pretty mean 'n nasty without any extra lowering. still, i'd appreciate learning what you did and what your costs were.
i've still got the stock wheels on mine, and i like the way it looks. in my 'hood i see a lot of range rovers, etc. that are black, with painted black wheels (no high falutin' chrome lips) and i've been thinking about having my stock rims painted black to match the car. i hesitate because of fear that this would look too sleazy or something, and i'd be unhappy with it after a short while. as someone inexperienced with mods etc., can i ask anyone here who might know how difficult it would be to undo having the rims painted? would it be cheaper to buy a second set of stock rims and paint them?
sorry to hijack the thread; i hope i didn't veer too far off course. best,
vic

I drive a E55T, SLK55 and 65 Mustang Conv.
Beautiful car! I hope you have as much fun with yours as we've had with ours. We consideredordering a 63 when they came out but I'm really glad we chose not to as I just love mine

That is one mean looking wagon, along with the Audi wagons it is the only one I would get. I love the 65 rims, it sounds like your sales guide was real cool switching up the rims for you! Now you just need to tint the windows!
