I am looking for some seat covers to protect the leather from getting worn. Currently I have plastic over the seat but am looking for something nice like sheepskin or something. Thanks

Sheepskin? In a $90,000 car?
Why don't you go with those beads that all the taxi drivers in NYC are so fond of?
The best way to take care of your leather is to keep it conditioned and not wear your S&M gear when you're driving so you don't scratch the leather with all the zippers.

Yes the 06 E55's have nubuck and I believe all the W211 E55's do.

you should never install any type of seat covers on seats with side air bags because they will interfere with the air bags in the worse case senario.

seatcovers over leather...blasphemy! it just doesn't make sense. take care of the leather with a good cleaner and conditioner and enjoy it forever, afterall you paid for it.

even better than sheep, are the generic variety garden chair looking cushions replete with the around the seat elastic fasteners. if decide to secure to 55, pls affix a "bobbin' jesus" to the center dash...amen. this will complete "the look."

Wear 'em out then replace them with OEM covers. My '83 Porsche has brand new seat covers. I had them rebuild the foam bolsters at the same time. Not as expensive as you might think. Plastic on your leather seats? Good God, man!

Some people are really **** about these things. My 360 came with seat covers which I used most of time and I know several other Ferrari owners who use thier seat covers reguarly. I am only talking about the drivers seat because it seems to get the most wear.

Here is 360 after 3 years of ownership. Looks perfect. If you notice a lot of Ferrari's the drivers seat looks extremly worn. Everyone has thier own quirks.
