Drive Dynamic seat question

The passenger seat in my car is always off until I turn it on manually by pushing the dynamic button. The setting for both seats is on "powerful", but the passenger seat never stays on after someone gets out of the car. Major pain in the ***. Is this the way it is supposed to operate?

That's the way. The seat detects use and shuts off if no body is present. That's why the airbag light comes on also. The drivers is different, they assume it will always be in use.

Does anyone know how long the "pulse" feature is supposed to stay on? Mine shuts down after 10 minutes or so.

Unfortunately, yes. It's one of the cool features of the car that you'd like a passenger to experience - especially first-timers. It's definitely UNcool to have to reach over to activate the button on the front of the passenger seat squab. There ought to be an auto-on setting, just as there is with the driver's side.

Jangy,

You need to PRESS on the PULSE button again to bring it back on! Hahahahaa... You're too lazy bro! They dont want to have it on all the time because you will fall asleep behind the wheel.

Torquey55, etc., your passenger does not have to push the Dynamic button to turn on the feature. Just make sure that the dynamic feature is turned on whe the memory for the passenger seat is set. Then whenever a passenger gets in he pushes the memory button and releasees it and the dynamic function will then be turned on.
