In the future I hope to get an E55-W211. I've browsed the used market so far but it doesn't seem there are many that have Distronic. Just curious if anyone has production numbers for the different years:

I have it, it's probably my favorite option.

I have it and it is great. When I bought mine last year I could only find two cars in the whole country that had distronic and the other options I wanted, my '05 and an '04 which was up for sale recently as having been owned by some beer executive it was a black car. If you want solar panels that rules out '05 and newer they don't have them. So you are looking for a loaded '03 or '04 I would get an '04 since they include maintenace and have the newer style dash.
