For Sale: 2007 E63
Wayne recently bumped some of the 63 passes down with his amazing E55 times.
Heads up definately , that would be INCREDIBLE.
we will do some heads up on 6/13/08 but you guys are not going to be impressed at all with our times due to the tremendous heat and elevation.
Same track same day as always offers up the truest comparison.
Mo I did not see you on the list! You gotta come man.
Jay no worries bro, I get wound up, guess reading this through got me going
The E55 is still King in the east coast with fastest time of 11.77 @ 118.x vs the E63's 11.95 @ 118.x, but I think E63 is still King in west coast. Unless we can somehow get a ZERO or NEGATIVE DA track with good prep here on the west coast, the E55 numbers will hold for a long time.
12.090* 114.770 1.790 44.0 Yes Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG 2006 John James III
from AZ unless you don't consider that the west coast.
No timeslip from John James the 3rd, no real data cept he ran in 44 degree weather. That track is 1200 ft ABSL @44 degress. You have a better trap speed in your 63 and ran 20 degrees warmer.
I think in 44 degrees you hit 11.90's
That is a damn impressive run for the WEST tho 12.09@114.xx Nice showing from a STOCKK 55. Jack has the record trap @117.(Sacramento)
Derek:My apologies if you find my post classless, but I have been trying to repair the damage your run caused for 2 years. May of 2007 we started the quest to match the 55 numbers, it will be done and it will happen this year. A 63 will soon top the list , ENZOM has been on top too long.
2- I got lucky with an E55 a while ago and got unlucky with the E63. I don't think my post has had much to do with anything E63 other than some conversations two years ago.
I'm very happy folks are getting these great times out of their E63. Sorry I haven't followed it closer but it just hasn't been a real priority.
All I've ever tried to do on this board was to provide my fair and accurate experiences with my cars. I'm a Kleemann dealer and I even gave them some grief for some things not quite measuring up with the 55. Congrats on the great numbers, truly impressive.

OOPS sorry Derek ,

I guess after looking at your posts and reading bout yer experience I assumed you had a ton of seat time drag racing.
My bad!!!!! Thank you for communicating this and I really appreciate your contribution and response to this years later.
E55 is a MONSTER, and trying to match her on the drag strip is very very challenging.
Good Luck and once again my apology is sincere. I did not intend to call you out, and you should be proud of your run , the car did what it should under the tremendous heat and humidity and in the condition it was in
