Sounds like fun. Next time I'm visiting the Pendleton crew I'll PM and see if anything's going on. If they're interested a Z3 M would be added to the mix and a few others too.

I'm sure seeing the 996 will bring back the old memories though. I may burst into tears.

Actually, it is Sunday. Just show up. we'll keep it spirited, but not as competitive as it has gotten, since there is no new shiat talker to quiet this time (Cyn LOL). I have been getting a bit uncomfy with these runs getting too competitive for public roads and we may try to setup a track day at a local road course. Anyhow, show up and we'll try not to get you Five-O'd.

 

Definitely do PM. All enthusiasts are welcome, regardless of attitude. It was pouring down rain last time for the climb and the CS4 could have made boats out of the E55s, but he was easy on us.

You thinking you can take the all wheel drive in the rain? Just curious.

I think you were asking if I think I can take the C4S? After a particularly hairy journey to Vegas last July/August 05, I know the 295 rears on the P-car don't like standing water, so if it's really raining then maybe. But if it's just damp then there's no way I'm troubling a C4S. Wide bodied Carrera's are in a different league of handling to my S4.
Certainly my AWD the wet would be handy in the wet on exiting the corners and trying to make up the 130bhp deficit on those beastly 55s.

By the way, I hope the attitude comment wasn't directed at me!
