Considering a Palomar run this wkend, renamed as the Jangy run. Feedback on what days would be good, any LA members wanting to come down, should be great time and also to show your car.

Jangy is king of the mountain at the present, he could really use the competition. No protocol, just good fun and maybe lunch in Julian afterward.

Have 2 p cars wanting to go will try to get others, especially some lambos Jangy and I saw going the opposite way w/another friend. "jangy palooza power fest"

Depending on feedback on what day, will post more details on meeting area.

I'm in. I'm trying out a new setup, so I am curious to see how the beast reacts. No LA panzies will show. They are way too skeard.

We can try to get the SD crew to make a run, if you set up the schedule.

I'll do either day. I can't go Friday, no matter how many times Jeff says it. LOL!!

Oh heck yeah, I am definitely down with the SD crew going to a new area, especially if we can get some extra people from there.

You run off the road once and look, they brand you for life.

Guys, how about doing this at the track.

Willow Springs Raceway is not that far away.

I would hate to see a headline in the morning paper --- "A bunch of Mercedes AMG drivers caused in accident, resulting in XX deaths........................"

Very wise words. I think that more and more. We've been lucky and had fairly responsible people up until now, but one bad run makes it all a mistake.

I'd like to say we only drive at about 8/10ths but that is really just rationalizing the issue.

I'm still down to go, especially since it will be our regular 4 cars....but i think we should discuss Vadim's point at lunch??

Hahaha... That's just so WRONG.

A few of us will do the Friday's run to prepare for Saturday face off w/u bro since you're the KING of the Mountains rigth now.

I agree with Vadim. Please be careful.

Maybe we should hit the track with the M5 guys at El Toro in Tustin: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/sho...d.php?p=861111

I will be signing up if anyone wants to join me.

Hmmm, I can't read BMW. Can you explain what this event is. I may be down. How do they race? One at a time or all out? Also, what day and how much? When is the "public" allowed to sign up, etc. I would definitely be into putting the beast up against some serious contendors.

Jeff, you guys can practice all you want. It isn't the road. HAHA!! I wish I could go Friday, but work has me buried.

We are always careful, especially for 5 0. Learned from Jangy about the plane w/the black wing over the wkend. Good info to know. Practice on friday is primarely to learn the road. I'm still figuring it out. Then its Jangy run.

SD guys, L8apex post about the M5 board at El Toro base is
something we should attend. I'm planning on adding my name. Be a nice compliments to your drag race day.

Lets pm each other and maybe get a group of us to go w/maybe some local tuner shops representing.

I can do either day. I'm also flexible on time. I prefer early, due to temp and traffic, but I know its hard to wake some up. We can even do an afternoon for all i care. You have people coming in from out of town or are you thinking MBWorld folks (as I do not thin any will show). The mysterious Palomar mountain is just too extreme for them. I'd love to hook up with your crew. That RUF was NICE!! Even if it was yellow. I'd be down for a semi-spirited ride, if they would join. We could loop accross Julian and end up at the Interstate 8.
