Tiny steps are being taken right now because everything is still in the discovery stage.. Once the locomotive picks up some momentum things will happen a bit quicker...

If you're wondering if the turbos and downpipes are mounted to the car yet; NO.. Not yet.. LOL...

Nothing exciting to report... Working on the Turbo selection right now and the turbo manifolds.

Once some stuff is solidified I'll report some info.

SLR is 626hp if I remember correctly... I dont think you'll have to worry about keeping up with IT... I think IT will have to worry about keeping up with YOU. LOL..

Twin turbo would be very interesting on the e55. If you are really serious about doing this ASAP, I would give Jason Heffner from heffnersperformance.com a call. They have an article on his twin-turbo gallardo w/ built engine and twin-turbo Ford GT w/ stock engine in this month's "car and driver"... rumor has it that he is also working on a quad-turbo murcielago. I'm sure he can make you a custom setup... It wont be cheap though lol

Btw Victor there are rumours about new RS6 Bi turbo V10! What do you think about it? Do you think Twin turbo V10 is better than bi turbo V8 AMG?

P.s Today i made a big mistake and drove new m5 now i'm really in love, Handling is sweeeeeeeeeet, SMG IS SWwwwwwwwwweeeeeet, but not as torqy as 55, have you driven one?

What?? RS6 is TT V10 ?? No way!!!! I just put a deposit down on an R8 last week... Now you tell me... That will be a sweet car! I've got connections with Audi so I can get whatever you want from them.

To make the final decision on which is better, wait until Twin-Charger AMG is done.. Then we can talk..

I had M5 on order but cancelled when I found out more details of motor.. I like torque motors.. I dont want to have to rev at 7,000RPM all the time to make peak power.

You are in luck!! It will work on ALL 55 motors (E55, SL55, CL55, CLS55).

Sorry bud.. That's just a disaster waiting to happen.. The N/A 55 motors run high compression and adding boost just makes things alot worse.. I dont want to attach my name to something like that because the motor wasnt built for it and I dont want to be responsible for one blowing up.

I know Kleemann and other companies build S/C upgrade kits to put on N/A motors, but, unless the bottom end was forged and the compression was lowered I would never do something like that to my car.

Although, if someone were to REALLY want a kit for a CLK55 I am sure I can accommodate... Afterall.. Anything is possible..

Wow, when i caught this thread when it opened i disregarded it as just some chit-chat pondering.. ive just read every page and it sounds awesome!! I cant wait to see some results on this project!

Personally i like the idea of keeping the SC if the system will work. I also see the easy side of ripping it out and going TT only, but i LOVE the idea of popping the bonnet and seeing the thing look basically stock!

keep up the awesome work guys, im still amazed you are developing it!!! Love your work, stick me on the seriously interested list!

Hey guy's I only read 2 pages and hope I am not repeating what someone else posted but there is a Bi-turbo E class by Brabus with a V12.
Here is a link to the page with specs and a hefty $$$$$355,000.00 price tag but did make it into the Guiness book of world records as the fastest 4 door sedan in the world.

Dude... this is the main Mercedes forum on the internet. Do you honestly think that we are a bunch of clueless retards and don't even know that there is a Brabus V12 E-class? I believe there are at least 10 threads regarding this car, maybe more

P.S. There is also a Brabus V12 bi-turbo CLS, which is supposed to be even faster than this E class.
