1. push the airmatic button on your center console
2. renntech or carlsson lowering module
3. star diagnostics
4. washer method
i'm sure if you search any of those you'll find as much info as you need.
here's one to get you started:

To bad you don't live in Maryland... My Mercedes tech installed adjustable links up front that allows you to set the front to any stance you want. On the rear he just put a slot on the axle to lower it to match the front.
I just had him install my pulley kit too. If anyone in the MD/VA/DC area wants his number let me know, he does all kinds of side work.

If I turn my car to sport II mode. The wheels practically tuck inside the wheel well (too low for me). why would you want to lower this car?? I wouldnt do it... but its up to you..

Sounds like your car has already been lowered. Did you buy it new or used? If used, maybe the previous owner had it done. If new, then something's up. I've never seen a stock E55 sit low enough to tuck the rear wheels. My E55 is lowered and it doesnt tuck much, if at all.

Indeed, the front does not lower but the rear drops 10mm from Comfort to Sport 1. There is no further drop on Sport 2. Then at 68 mph there is another drop of 15mm front and rear, but that is rather hard to verify as the ruler keeps bouncing off the asphalt as I lean out of the driver's side door...
