E63 Redux

What is interesting is that between the speed ranges of 55-140~mph, the E63 is neck and neck with the M5. Now some of you may say that was expected, but I am quite suprised actually (pleasantly). I believe the quick ability to downshift 2 gears at once of the 7G Tronic, combined with the high torque at mid-to-high revs gives a very savagely-potent combination of engine and powertrain.
To do this to an M5 (a car that will annihilate anything above 100mph) is a serious achievement. This combined with other European reviews suggests to me that there is some sort of "limit" on US cars. Personally, and objectively (you torque-mad E55'ers!) this new engine is a masterpiece!
Now we won't need the 3.45 final drive after all!
(But someone get one anyways!!)
To be accurate, the E63 is actually a 6.2 litre V8 and the M5 is a 5.0 litre V10. What positive effect the 2 extra cylinders have for an engine, I am not sure. Others can point out the advantages.

At this time we have not seen an E63 on the dyno with some miles. I think there is HP limitation from AMG until certain mileage is reached. I do not have any proof. At this time it is just a "hunch".
