Integrated Child Seats

Anyone have these in their car? Where can I get them and how much? From what I gather, they are made by AMG and basically have child seats built in to the rear seats. I hope it would have better rear leg room, and if so would be willing to pay a fat lady's rent.

I looked into these seat swhen I first bought my car. These are not AMG but are from Mercedes. IKS PDF They cost about $150-$200. At the end of the day I went with 2 Britax Boulvard in Black Onyx.

That is why i wanted the integrated ones, hoping that the kid would fit deeper into the seat. the britax has him all up in my rear.

Jangy,

The only one that I have seen was done by AMG Performance Studios. It is awfully steep.

I hear ya! My daughter kicks the seat followed by saying "faster" when she wants me to hit the loud pedal. So I do and she giggles. If you find the IKS in the states let us know.

That is the one I want. Heck, i paid $1200 for the rolling rear side shades, so it can't be oo bad. I just wonder if there is another source? I don't relly like the thought of sending my E to germany for minor cosmetics.

Recaro has some nice ones, with a 'charcoal microfibre' cover that matches the charcoal alcantra headliner perfectly.... in the cls, its still possible to kick the back of the seat however.

my son can barely reach the passenger seat when he's strapped in. I usually scoot the front seat up more when he's in the car. Im sure that wil change when he's older, but then I'll make him take off his shoes in the car

Ask our friends at DOT . They need to learn from the Europeans.

some slow@$$diesels
the integrated child seat from mercedes (AMG) is nothing more (or less) then a rear seat bench that has a folding insert on both sides that can be folded up leaving the kid (must be at least 3 years old or so) a kind of booster seat and some more legroom...

The headrest add-on as shown in that picture is something I have never seen in a benz yet...
