I'm surprised this thread hasnt been more active since this looks like a cost effective alternative to the expensive cooling kits.

haters crazy
I finally installed the AFCO pro series heat exchanger on my Kleemann CLK55 and the temp of the s/c stays warm and never gets hot! I can run it hard, pull over, then just lay my hand on the s/c. Only problem is the heat exchanger is HUGE and the inlet/outlet point towards the back of the car so I couldn't center it properly. It was also too big to put the bumper back on so I had to cut alot of the bumper out I need to find one that will fit behind the bumper because the current setup looks ghetto and ricer. But it does serve a purpose.

sorry...

just too busy...

I don’t have any pictures but, is really cost me US$550 remember labor is cheaper from this part of the world .it is only the exchanger that I changed, had some problems with the warning to add more coolant even though there are no leaks anywhere 'weird'.

I hooked the car up on Star Diag last night and I was amazed, the inlet temp doesn’t exceed 70C (full load) it used to slightly exceed 100C. I don’t feel the difference but I can see it on starDiag. I think it works great on back to back runs on a track or a drag strip, the blower doesn’t disengage like it used to. That’s all I can tell you for now.

Peace

Dimensions and fluid capacity would be very usefull ... also some idea of how simple the install is would be usefull too ... i.e. did you need to cut away at bumper / mountings at all ... ?

Thanks in advance !!!
