lambo HP vs E55 hp?
i finaly ran into a super car in my E55 to race, we pull up at a light and i point ahead as to say lets run um. he took about 2 minutes to finaly figure out how to roll down the window and ask what. i told him lets race. he looked at me like i was crazy! so i asked again and he said i have 500hp i smiled and said thats ok. he then read my v8 kompressor badge on the side with this look as he had no clue what i was driving. so my question is what lambo has 500hp i never seen this one before it didnt look special. and would i have had a chance? how do you tell some one not to be so big headed and race without sounding like a dick.

Isn't a Gallardo a 12.0 car? Damn close to many of our stock E55s, especially those of us that run around on sticky tires all the time

P.S. Actually there is now a 3rd lambo! The Murcielago LP640 with 640hp!

Are you saying that you don't know what car it was lol? C'mon man.. there are only two "lambos", a $170k, 500hp Gallardo, and a $280k 580hp Murcielago. Both do 0-60 in 4 second flat and run the 1/4 mile near 12 flat (stock) and both are AWD. As a car enthusiast, you are required to know these basic facts about lambos

Are you sure about that? I only see one Lambo in this comparison and I don't think it's stock.
Edit: go to page 4 to get a few lambo times. Yes page 4.

The Kleemann headers do seem to be bigger ... but I have yet to hear of a Renntech header cracking ... I believe I have already seen at least two different people here post about cracked Kleemann headers.
As to the Renntech headers being close to stock ... I would have to disagree. BIG difference. And I was just eyeballing them yesterday.
Oh and in terms of after stage 1 Renntech ... you might want to look at the IC pump upgrade. Either that or the Intercooler upgrade. I think it depends on how you like to modify. I'm the type that does one step at a time and uses the safest steps first. IC pump upgrade can solve some of the headaches of IC pump failure and also gives the ability to pump more. Intercooler upgrade is to ensure low IAT temps because the additional boost will increase temps. Then you can do the more HP upgrades and get your ECU tuned(everytime for free after purchase) for every level of upgrade. (Headers, Airbox, Throttle body etc)

This is a dynojet comparison i gathered a while back. You can see how the different engines compare... Keep in mind winning races are not only aboiut HP and TQ, but also weight, aerodynamics and gearing.

bi turbo amg: ya i think im goin to get evo headers i belive i read that they are cali approved (carb) and a direct bolt on. the real reason though is price.
SLK55R: im just like you i want 1 part at a time so that way i know what does what. probably headers after renn stage 1 then intercoller from evo or renntech if the price is within reason. i read on evo website it will give 15-20hp can that be true or a over stated number?

I'd still take a F430 any day of the week.

I was indeed talking about current production, if we go way back, there was even a Lamborghini SUV not too long ago! As far saying Ferrari are for "suckas" I completely disagree with you. I would even go as far as saying Ferrari is more of a driver's car that lambo. Lamborghini's are too heavy, AWD (real sports car should be RWD, in my opinion), and are not focused enough on track performance. Ferrari builds track cars for real enthusiasts, such as the F360 challange stradale and the upcoming F430 Challange Stradale, not to mention the amazing Ferrari Enzo and past F40 and F50. Lamborghini on the other hand, builds car that are easier to drive and much less involving than ferrari, not to mention a lot slower on track! Lamborghini needs to go back to the drawing board and offer more focused cars. It seems to me that lamborghinis are too focused on the "poseurs" rather than drivers! Putting a gallardo on a serious diet, converting to RWD, and offering adjustable suspension would be a good start. As it is now, F430 is just on a whole different level, and Ferrari hasn't even released the F430 Challange Stradale yet!

Just so you know the Renntech headers are also carb certified and even have a nice little metal stamp on them with the number.
They fit easily without any hassles ... direct bolt on.
