B870 Motoring CF rear diffuser

Alright guys, we've completely hijacked Dogshine's thread about Akara's car. I'll post anything new about the diffuser here as soon as the replacement shows up.

Edit: Akara, nice car by the way, it's all but identical to mine except for wheels. K1 is going on as soon as I can get an installer.

I called them and the replacement went out today. I guess we'll know more by Monday or Tuesday.

I hope yours comes back ok. Man that makes me uneasy knowing that they botched one of them. They were nice guys and seemed very helpful so I'm assuming its all worked out. BTW there are a couple Kleemann installers here in LA if you want...

I called DC Performance and left a message. A guy called me back but was interrupted by another call and was going to call me back to schedule it. That was 2 days ago. I'm trying not to go all the way to O.C. for this, but I don't want just anyone working on the car. The local dealer turns white as a sheet even mentioning mods, so they're out. I'd like to get a before and after dyno too. I'm only installing the K-1 pulley, no ECU tuning. Cory says that's OK ,probably only worth another 5 hp and that would probably be from leaning it out slightly. I'll only do the ECU if the AF is not looking good, I guess the newer ones are really rich from the factory. I'm not trying to sound cheap, but the car is a lease and is GONE as soon as the lease is up, it's had too many problems. I'll be looking for a '04-'05-'06 with a good repair history when it's gone, or maybe a SL65 or TT E63. Who else can do this north of O.C.??? I might go to Evosport since I'm considering their resonator delete kit at the same time, but the drive sucks.

I'm hoping it's OK too. To be honest, I'm surprised they sent it to me looking the way it did. I mean someone had to have seen it before it got boxed up and it just wasn't worthy of $300.00. It did fit over the stock plastic piece very well, I don't see trying to pull the stock piece off to mount it. It has a distinct "lip" to cover the upper edge of the stock piece. It's obvious a stock diffuser was used as the mold, and this was formed over it. No big deal. It might actually be easier than trying to get the stock part off. They rate pretty highly on E-Bay, but the one negative I did read had to do with a CF body part for a BMW guy.

Man thats annoying. They assured me soooo vehemently that it was a 100% replacement piece. I'm very picky and I want it to be 100% level with the bumper, without any bulge from being mounted on top of the diffuser. Is it at all noticable? It looks beautiful in ur pics

It's pretty thin and the fit was very good, so I don't see a need to remove the stock diffuser as long as you don't use thick double sided tape. Gluing it might be an option. Absolutely it can replace the stock part, but if you do pull the stock diffuser, I would think you would actually want some bulk behind it. It's really just a thin shell. The material looked good, it's a shame to waste it on sloppy craftsmanship. I don't remember posting a pic of it, but I will shoot the new one.

The new one showed up damaged (cracked on on one end). Although the quality is much better, it's still not what I was expecting. I e-mailed Eurorev, and got a quick response saying it was personally packed up and did I damage it while unpacking it??!! WTF? They do not, apparently, understand that dull spots and/or uneven lines aren't going to fly, at least on my car. I will be driving down there with it in the next 1-2 weeks.

Thats ridiculous...
I just picked mine up on Saturday and they were very nice. The guy asked me if he could install it for me and did it for no charge. The piece looks GREAT and is 100% clean. I'll post pics as soon as I can. I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. I think if you take it down to them personally they'll listen a little more closely.

I'm guessing the E-Bay customers get the "seconds". Please post pics ASAP, I'd like to think this is not a usual thing for them, but again, even this one has dull areas and the upper "lip" that would be most visible isn't all that straight and even. Like I told the guy on the phone the first time, I don't care if it's $50 or $500, it's got to look worthy of the Benz, or I don't want it. Glad it worked for you.

These guys suck. I'm finally told I could get one and exchange what I got Thursday. When I get there, they don't have it and tell me it'll be "a couple of hours" before it arrives finished!! I said, I'll take my money back. He gives me a company check and I leave him my number in case he gets another perfect one. The check BOUNCED! I e-mailed him through E-Bay and told him to pay pal back the full amount plus the $7.00 my bank charged me.

Are you reading this Richard??

E-mail response is "oops, there was another check that didn't clear our bank, very sorry,,,,,blah, blah, just deposit it again". No mention of the $7.00 I've already lost. Just a heads up guys. No more B870 anything, I don't care what their E-bay rating is..............

B870/Eurorev WARNING: SCAM, RIP OFF

As of yesterday, 12-18, their check is still no good. I called and the guy who answers the phone (who can barely be understood), says the man I need to speak isn't there, he'll call you back, yada, yada. No call back. I'm going after these slime *****, but in the mean time, Vic, can you or another mod sticky this??? Hate to see someone else ripped off by these turds.

Wow, sorry to hear about your saga with these people. At this point, I'm just glad that mine turned out ok. What's your original method of payment? If you paid by Paypal or C/C, you can probably file a chargeback.

They conveniently dragged this out past the 60 day limit. However, I'm never going to be done ***king with them. My bank says to depost the check again and if it bounces the second time after they said it would be good, they will give me my $7.00 back. I don't have time to deal with it, so my attorney can go after them for the full amount of the check, plus his expenses. What really pisses me off is that E-bay won't allow me to retract the positive feedback I gave them. Makes you wonder how accurate any of the feedback ratings are?

I never give any feedback on e-bay until I'm done through and through with the transaction. If you paid with your c/c using Paypal, you should still be able to file charge back with your c/c company even after 60 days

Don't know, but Eurorev is the business name. The E-bay user ID is B870. The address is 14938 S. Figueroa, Gardena. Phone 310-768-1939.

It's bad enough to get some POS sent out to me that looked like a 12 year old tried to make, but to have pay to ship it back, get another bad part, and then go to the trouble of driving 75+ miles to their place of business to get a THIRD part, on THE DAY I'M TOLD TO BE THERE, and it's not even there!! I didn't even want a refund, I'm already out $28.00 to ship the first part back, and $7.00 for the first bounced check charge. I wanted a decent (not necessarily perfect) diffuser for my car. If any of you get chance to drive by, give them a big F*CK YOU for me, thanks.
