Very very strong time! Congrats! Those are stage 2 with DR times! Were you guys dialed in? Video looked great minus a green tint on my screen. Resolution was strong. You using the Sony or the Canon?

thanks Derek.... I was running dial-ins since the line was shorter, I didn't know they lowered the roll bar limit to 11.50's, so I dialed in a 12.10.... I didn't care if I broke out....
I have the Sony HDR-HC1, I want to ebay it and pick up the new one with the 30GB hard drive.... I see that green tint when viewing the video in a browser window, but not when just loading it up in the computer....
haven't played with the different HD exporting options yet..... so far, the quicktime mp4 exports in 720P are much better than anything I've gotten from the wmv format, I just did wmv for web compatibility.... what format gives you the best results?

hey... saw your C55 there, you had the blue evo in the 11's right? that's a good time for the C55, best I got from my c32 was 13.4 @ 104.x....

Fikse - OMG, can't believe you were there. I sold my blue evo IX and bought a C55. Couldn't keep the Benz from blowing the tires off. Best was a 13.3@105. I am so used to revving to 6800rpm on the 2 step and letting it rip. Gotta learn to drive all over again. How ya been?

The new canon is the smallest (sanyo is smaller but bad reviews on clarity) but due to camera angles on the roll cage in the Noble, I need the setup of the sony.
Get the LANC controller, best $50 you'll spend on video.

Fikse- Yeah, I had the evo IX that went 11.56@118. Send me the info on the track day. Not so sure I want to run the car. I only went to test the mph and see if the Benz was rated fairly. I am actually thinking of selling for a Gallardo??? I love the C55 though. Nicest car I've ever owned. Hit me up on the track day.....

Questions About Launch
I plan on going to the track sometime soon, and wanted some clarification on the launch technique suggested by you. Why do you downshift to 1st... wouldn't the car start off in 1st anyway? Do you then manually upshift, or does the car upshift automatically at redline?
