Scottsdale Exotic Car Club Day at the Drags (12/2)
The big day is only about a week away!! Just a reminder about the SECC's Day at the Drags on Saturday, December 2nd at Speedworld Raceway Park in Wittman, AZ.
If you weren't at our last Drag Day, you missed a great time. We've got folks coming from all around the country for this event, with some very fast and exotic vehicles.
To those of you who have registered and paid, thank you very much, we look forward to seeing you on the 2nd!!
Driver's slots are filling up fast, so if you haven't already registered, make sure to do so now, as space is limited! Once all slots are filled, registration will be permanently closed, with no exceptions. Also note our new fee schedule that rewards early registrations.

This promises to be a great event with many 11 and 10 second passes (and maybe even a couple of 9's ) The forecast is sunny, 64 degrees with 0% chance of rain. I've made sure that the track will be hooking like never before. Something tells me that we might see a few records fall

It was a great time. Don't worry...we're doing another one toward the end of February, maybe you can make that one.

I was there, but wasnt able to find you. I had the CL65, E55, and managed to get someone else to come along so I got the Viper there as well. Viper ran a 12.8 only ran it twice (didnt want to push too hard) The E did a 12.4 with my friend driving it, and I managed an 11.992 in the CL on my second run. We could only stay a little while but I will plan on attending the next one and stay the whole day this time. Thank you for organizing this event, there were a ton of great cars there and I got to run a quarter for the first time ever!!!

I want to go next time as well, seems like a ton of fun and I want to run a few cars that I wouldnt have a chance to run here. How many runs can some get n during the day? How many cars do you have show up and can you get my car to run as fast as yours!!! I want to run my h2 as well to see what it can do, the wifes m3 and my sl and maybe by then I will have a new addition as well. What octane tune are you running? I am talking to renntech and kleemann now seeing which way to go. I just got the renntech elm so that will be nice. My best time here is a 12.3et and best trap is 119.7 so I am not sure how close to sea level you track is at so my times should drop.

I was there and it was a great day as Joe mentioned. I ran the E 25 times down the strip. Best run was a 12.25 plus two other runs in the 12.2x range. 14 runs in the 12.3x range all around 112-113 trap speed. I have no mods and the 60' was consistantly around low 1.8's. Temp was mid 60's and up as the day went on. I think the track is about 1100 feet above sea level but Joe would know better. I had a blast and so did the Beast!
