Hi Tech Boyz - MD

Curious if anyone has gotten their full package. I was told that the FMIC was 3.5K installed and that mods above my level to reach Malcom's was 13K. There seems to be ALOT more involved in getting to an 11.0@129 all motor pass. Cams, intake and S/C porting, mods to the LSD...bunch of proprietary tricks.

Anyone have a pic of their FMIC? I think it would definitely require the removal of the EVO sport cooling upgrade. Question is what would be the incremental gain. Hi Tech says 40rwhp over stock FMIC and 75rwhp with Methly.

I would love to see their IC. I would definitely consider that modification.

Has anyone on this board had any experience with this shop? Who are these guys?

Malcolm seems to be very popular on the street/track racing in the MD area. They said that his E55 is really a beast. After talking with him,he seems to know the E55 engines real well.He said he did not want to disrespect the site by trying to sell jobs on the site......that's why he has not personally bin on the site saying how fast his car is,or whats been done to it.
However should he decide to be a sponser,he will tell everyone where they can pick up a few hp here and there.
He is a real nice guy,who is just trying to go fast like the rest of us.
I do not stand to make any personal gain from all this...........but i would like to see how his system differs from the rest, and how is the hp gain compare to other similar systems.

If you haven't already noticed, the other thread regarding Malcolm's car was DELETED. If you can't figure out why it was deleted or why he wouldn't be posting pics of the I/C mod here as of this moment then I hope someone else can explain it to you.

I was asking a rather obvious question with a rather obvious (albeit surprising answer with some sarcasm as you may have noted) ... I guess he has no friends amongst the sponsors here ...

Still if he has something that is a good product ... nothing like stealing customers right under your opositions noses - and advertising it. His I/C design / mod is going to come out at some point anyway.

Basically he has a bigger / better I/C heat exchanger (no rocket science unless he has gone for the SLR style I/C unit), a better pump (allot of us already have this anyway). He has a water/methyl injection kit which I dont think anyone has done here - but is probably where he is getting allot of his extra power...

All I want is a better/bigger heat exchanger ... if ANYONE has one they can PM with price and availbility if they want ....

I think he is just low key and loves the car and doesn't car to push his product like other tuners. On the otherhand I understand as he doesn't want other tuners to use to their advantage what he has done. I don't blame him at all if he is not trying to make a business of this. He seemed like a cool guy and knew all the issues I was having with my methly kit. I can't tune it....obviously he can. I will likely go visit him since its 1.5 hrs away.

I have my 04 E55 worked on by malcolm at Hi-Tech and raced a cobra with twin turbo setup (650hp) and basically killed his car head up! My car is totally insane now and it only took 2 weeks to do. Their shop seems to be top knotched and real clean. Big ups to HI-TECH BOYZ!!!!

signed: bjudgedby55
upgrades done to car:
kleeman stage 4, hi-tech boyz hi-flow heads, hi-tech boyz hi-flow intake, extrude hone process, in-line fuel pump, larger injectors, awesome front mount water to air intercooler, mickey thompson drags, ccw wheels, lsd, tricked by the BOYZ at HI-TECH.
GONE COBRA HUNTING!!!!!!!!!

I heard about the race with the Cobra T/T earlier this week, and post it on the board.........my friend in MD said it was unbelievable, because he was expecting the terminator mustang to win against the two e55 that ran,but instead it was the other way around.
I had no idea about the hp/tq numbers until now.
Congratulation guys and keep up the good work, also keep us posted on some more road kill.
