Video Clip
Hey guys here you go, i am definitley better at turning wrenches then converting video stuff! LOL!
This is a clip the guys that built my race exhaust made of my car when it was at there shop. These guys build headers for some of the fastest drag cars in the world, and i can't thank them enough the the kick *** job they did for me.
We used to send our customers cars to them for exhaust work once the chassis were all done, and i'm glad i sent my car down. This is my 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" step headers with race merge collectors finished on the car with the 3" back section.
In this clip my car still had my 55K motor in, the stroker went in when it got back here, you'll notice in the last clip a bit of smoke comig from the exhaust, anyone that has ever used tubing can tell you it's the left over oil burning off from the pipes, hope you enjoy the short clip.
My good buddy jparch's car is getting more work done on it too, maybe i'll get a clip of our cars laying down a pass for you.
For the mean time here ya go!

Nice to see you posting again bleek Was wondering what happened to you! What do you think it will run in the 1/4?
Hey Bleek: Awesome - you spent some money on that exhaust system, but probably got your monies worth. GREAT Job!!!
How'd you guys like the video clip?

Hey Blackbenz, you still doing the show car circuit or are you a full time drag racer now brother? Where have i been, heck didn't you know i was in the witness protection program! LOL! I guess there regreting stirring the pot now! The should lay down some serious numbers at the track my only concern if my rear axles, don't want to break parts, but numbers wise the car is fast, not gonna say cause some people might think i'm bragging, drop me a pm.

Anyone know what happened to Bleek and his car? Did we ever hear how the head project went for him or flow numbers?

When I last spoke with him he said it was running perfect and pulling like a freight train. Keep in mind that he also had a completely rebuilt bottom end and installed some SLR type top mounted coolers he had fabricated. At that time though he didn't have any numbers to share.

No pics of exhaust, but there has been a lot of work gone into them.
The humps för sparkplugs can´t be grinded away unfortunatly![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
The divider in inlet is just a bit sharper than std, not much.
Aren´t any other way to do it actually, you don´t wanna shorten it either to make it more round.
Yes it´s N/A C55 heads.
Is there a difference to Charged ones?
Here´s a pic of stock inlet:

Yea that picture looks a lot different than the first one. Make sure that divider isn't sharp. What hump are you talking about for the spark plugs? Are you talking about in the combustion chamber or in the exhaust port? The hump in the exhaust port is strange but it doesn't hurt flow at all. I like the N/A heads a lot better than the boosted heads because the boosted heads have a large hump before the divider and the exhaust port isn't as good per my head ported. He was able to get a lot more out of the N/A heads to the point where he was even surprised how well a stock factory casting can flow. Keep up the good work and show us your finished results. By the way there's not much that can be done is the combustion chamber. Alittle softening but that's about it.

The divider is a bit thinner thar std, has to be so.
otherwise i couldn´t grind away the big imperfections.
But,, if you look, there´s a dark 'dot' at front of the divider, it´s acuallty untouched material.
The divider is slightly rounded, the lighting in pictures might fool you.

Yea you can take material away. It just looked really sharp (like and arrow) and that kills flow. There's a lot to be gained in these heads as long as they are ported for YOUR needs.

A question,,
Is there any other camshaftmanufacturer then kleeman,Dr.Schrick,Dbilas?
I read that compressorcamshaft won´t give you anything at all in an N/A engine.. sounds a bit funny.
but as it is a lot of money to throw away if they don´t i´m in hunt for something like almost no more duration but as much lift as possible.
And about 110-112 degree in lobe.
Short duration is good for 'drivability' and nature![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
lift is good for power..
And more narrow lobe will raise the rpm scale.
I know i can adjust std camshafts for raising the rpm, but i want more lift.
rgds.
