What ever you do,dont ask any mods a question. They will just back into a corner and avoid the answer by locking the thread.

i disagree. i have had many serious discussions with mods about policies and the appropriateness of content here via PMs and have always come to satisfactory resolutions. its all about dealing with things in the appropriate manner and not starting whinny threads about them...duh

I disagree, again. It's how the situation is being handled on the members part that usually ends up in bannings and locked threads.

But I don't deny that they've done that. What about spammers or trolls?

This thread is now CLOSED. Move along."

Supposedly, that's what that little warning sign on the lower left hard corner of each post is for. However, none of my requests have been answered so far.

Still didn't explain how exactly did Ling's signature violated the TOU. How about other people that posts pics with his / her own name, business name, and website address? I feel like we're walking on thin ice here.

Exactly,I dont see how a gallery of car pics could be breaking the rules here? And yes I have read paragraph 8.

I swear this is like trying to explain something to my gf!

It wasn't his sig that got him banned. In fact I beleive that the content of his sig probably falls into the grey area of what is allowed and what is not allowed and could probably have been put back pending a little bit of discussion with the mod who found it to be in violation of the TOU. He got banned for calling the mod's PM out in a open discussion. He got banned for that. At that point he should have gone straight to the mod to get it sorted out, instead he opened another account and continued his argument. The banning was probably still inappropriate, but that is between Ling and the mod.

Ling loves the art of photography, he doesn't intend to make money. I just saw him yesterday, he'll be missed for 60 days.

Mister, with all due respect, but you start to sound like a broken record....

We know why he was banned, but what was his violation in the first place that caused the removal of his signature in its entirety? That was not answered by MB-BOB

I am starting to feel like one but the same questions keep getting asked and responding to them with long winded responses is giveing me something to do besides writing the incredibly boring technical document i am actaully supposed to be working on right now...

I am waiting to learn that as well, but I don't think Bob has the answer to that one. I wonder which mod shut down the sig

I'm so sick of working on my research project as well. I'd rather be post whoring on MBWorld than working on the project.
