i disagree. i have had many serious discussions with mods about policies and the appropriateness of content here via PMs and have always come to satisfactory resolutions. its all about dealing with things in the appropriate manner and not starting whinny threads about them...duh

I swear this is like trying to explain something to my gf!It wasn't his sig that got him banned. In fact I beleive that the content of his sig probably falls into the grey area of what is allowed and what is not allowed and could probably have been put back pending a little bit of discussion with the mod who found it to be in violation of the TOU. He got banned for calling the mod's PM out in a open discussion. He got banned for that. At that point he should have gone straight to the mod to get it sorted out, instead he opened another account and continued his argument. The banning was probably still inappropriate, but that is between Ling and the mod.

Sorry Ive been under a rock this entire time.We understand why he got banned,its the sig part we are having trouble with.Which by the way is the root of the whole deal.

We know why he was banned, but what was his violation in the first place that caused the removal of his signature in its entirety? That was not answered by MB-BOB

I am starting to feel like one but the same questions keep getting asked and responding to them with long winded responses is giveing me something to do besides writing the incredibly boring technical document i am actaully supposed to be working on right now...
