You're right. This makes me think that K4 E55 Gustav raced with an M6 could be a supercharged E500 as well. I also doubt that car was $125k brand new as it says there.

Well, let's see: (these are retail prices from ~1-2 years ago)
Front apron = 2200
Rear apron = 1650
19" TS-6 wheels with tires ~ 7500
LSD, ELM, Suspension Module ~ 6500
KB4 brake upgrades = 12875
Stage 4 Kompressor Upgrade = 18800
Complete exhaust system = 7000
Alcantara Interior = 4950
Silver CF Trim = 7100
Total = 68575
so, 125K retail is not that far-fetched

They do imply that this is the car that has been getting spanked by the M cars. I thought someone said that even Kleeman acknowledged it? Hmmmm, makes me all the happier I chose RENNTech.

Are you sure a E500 supercharged by Renntech will outperform the KLEEMAN E50K? How does that make you happier?

I'll still be the same ol me. I know the K and Evo products put out more power. But, i like the refinement and seemless transition that the RENNTech products add.
It all comes to this:
I could add 100hp with kleeman and have to worry about cracked headers or get 100hp from EVO and worry about fault codes.
Instead, I'll take the claimed 75 from RENNTEch and not deal with any of that crap.

Nah, I am just not very happy with Kleeman's response to the films posted on the net. I never planned to take an E500 and supercharge it, so i have no clue if a RT one would beat a K one. I'm just glad i chose RENNTech as the company to deal with over the alternatives.

Fair enough. But I can honestly say that I've had 2 Kleemann cars (C55 Stage 7 and this E55 Stage 3) and haven't had a single problem with the Kleemann mods. Kleemann puts out a very good product, just like I'm sure both EVO and Renntech do. Honestly, I think the most important part/factor is the installation and ongoing maintenence. I guess it all comes down to what/who you're comfortable with.

my guess is that the K4 that raced the M6 was an E55, albeit not a very strong K4.
