'06 E55
Raced my first E63 today....
I was on Westheimer in Houston. The E63 was in front of me at the light. So he had the hole shot. He punched it and then I followed. He did not spin the rears so he must have had the ESP on. I caught him right away and passed him before shifting into 2nd. I let off at about 90 and he was two-three car lengths behind. All of the tests on the 55 have been done with low mile cars. It seems as though mine has gotten faster as I have put miles on it. I’m at about 3,800 now. I’m not sure what year the E63 was (probably '07). All I know is it was a 211. With all the banter on this site about how slow the 55 is…it was nice to race one (E63) and see him in my rear view mirror…Or maybe he wasn’t trying…

CLS63 AMG
I own an E55 and I am getting kinda embarrased about the other E55 owners on this board. The more E63 people post, the more E55 owners bashed them.
I just don't get it. We all own a very very nice car. Both of them are very very fast. AMG came out with a new model, be happy for the other owners. You don't see E63 owners saying E55 suck. But you do get the feeling that E55 owners don't have the same respect.
AMGs are very nice cars. Lets just let it be and all be happy we are lucky enough to drive these cars.

LOL. It’s all in good fun… Boy you’ll get upset with the idea of an E55 loss. I have no idea if my car is faster, I’ve only raced one (who lost miserably)…but the ridicule I have received is unpredicted…We’re all AMG lovers no?
More importantly, why do all of you need to call me a liar? Laugh behind your computers…The next man that wants to say that to me can meet me with the SD crew. Don’t know who will win, but I have never insulted anyone on this board…I can’t say the same for you’ll…

dont get too bent out of shape and take anyone too seriously here. Like you said, its all in good fun. Im going to try and make it to the meet on the 20th, hope to see you and your car there

if you ever want to meet up at the drag strip let me know...i'm from houston also but can never find anybody to go with (except chaz with 600)...would like to meet up with some 63's (or any other benz's) also. anyone interested? plus the weather is cool enough to get some good times for everybody.

Great sig pic. Did you photoshop it? If so, it is a good job. It looks real to me. Let me know if you Houston guys get something going at your track. I would like to try to make it down for some runs.
