Anyone know this K3

Been looking hard at CLS and E55. Really like this one. Does anyone know anything about it? What do you think is a fair price? TIA

Price looks high to me. As far as I'm concerned mods are worth zero and possibly even hurt the resale value except for appearance mods. Having said that, it looks like a nice car, call and make a lower offer.

It's priced way too high, even with the mods. I wouldn't pay more than $70k for it, and that's being very generous. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing car, but at that price you can afford to buy a stock '06 and mod it yourself to that level for much less money.

pulley - 1.5k (Hennesy)
ECU - 1.5k (Kleeman)
TB - 2.75k (VRUS)
EVO cooling unit - 2K
about 11.5K in mods/install, probably another 2K in install if you do K3 right.
I'd say figure out the selling price for the '06 with those miles and add 11.5k for DIY. I would guess for the right buyer the mods should sell for 40-50 cents on the dollar...of course to a dealer they can't certify it so they wouold not buy it hence even value it.
I once had a 700 rwhp Supra..20 K in mods. Went to car max and they offered me 11k, lol. 15k from Toyota. I sold it for $35k on ebay.

Luxury Motors
Luxury Motors has a black 2006 E55 for $69,900. It has 14 ticks. Just posting for comparison purposes. Did notice that neither car has Keyless Go.

no scam. I am honestly interested. Just sold my DD and looking at a CLS or E. I was looking at Speed Thrills lease take over on his K1 CLS55 but I fear I am too tall at 6'5" for a CLS. Would definately mod either car myself but likely only K1 or k2. LSD is nice though. Wheels would not be my choice but I had them on an S4 long ago and they are very light and strong. If they will take low to mid 70s I will take it. That is what that car would go for stock where I am located. I don't think mods really ad much but it saves me a trip to vegas or evo to get the install done. Anyone near Chicago willing to look at it for me?

It also has Kleemann cams, Kleeman lsd and all work done at mercedes benz dealer with $17k in receipt without the wheels. If you can get a stock one with no paintwork and good options for low $70's, then at 50 cents on the dollar its probably priced right.

I wonder if this dealer is associated with D&M Corvettes ? D&M Corvette has been around a long time...the owner is a real car guy. Gujupimpster...I'm right down the road in Niles....I think there is another member here in Glenview too.
