I have a Brindle Great Dane 10yrs old, great dogs, his name is Atlas, weighs 195lbs, rescued him from a shelter when he was 2..People that mistreat animals SUK!!

Atlas is a beautiful dog. 195lbs-that's a big boy. Rescuing is such a wonderful way to acquire an animal. One of my best dogs was a former racing greyhound I found by the side of a freeway. Chucked out a car as she had injured her cruciate and could no longer run is what the vet reckoned. Grrrr

Yes, I hate animal abuse more than anything, got into a brawl over it, driving w/X-girlfriend down a residential area, see this loser holding his full grown Lab/mix by the scruff of his neck 3 feet off the ground screaming at it, I yelled something to him he told me to ***** off, before you know it blows are swinging, girlfriends freaking out, I basically beat the snot outta this guy, cops came, and let us both go since neither side pressed charges (he actually thru the 1st punch, & witnesses backed me up on what happened) I did however report his abuse w/dog to the ASPCA...
I can't understand people who do these types of things, pets are beautiful creatures, all they want to do is please you, and give unconditional love

Thanks! I love'em he's my best buddy!! There really an interesting breed, besides the normal dog stuff, he and others I've seen notice anything out of place, say you bought a new lamp & set it up, Atlas will instantly notice & investigate it, even something as small as a tea cup, phone, kar keys, literally anything new in his area...To funny

I miss my bulldog so bad- longterm girlfriend and I just split and she has the dog.
