I have been to this track, it is a lot of fun. However, for those of you that may be first timers, just take it easy! It will take you at least a day to even learn the track. You can seriously get lost in it.

They will have instructors to help you out, take you for a ride, or ride with you. If you get the opportunity to have a pro drive your car with you in it, DO IT! I was blown away at what my Noble could do. I thought we would die a few times, but man that car handles. They might also let you take a lap in the Radicals or Atom. The track owners are a great bunch of people, and some of the drivers are amazing.

It will answer some of your questions, and she's asked that everyone who's coming to RSVP directly to her (Thank God).

She has all information that anyone would need, including packets on the Motorsports Country Club that she can send out to anyone that wants it.

I'll give rides and pointers about the track to anyone that wants it, including rides in my Radical, we'll have lead follows prior to taking the track etc. Spring Mountain is my "home" track so ask any questions you like.

It is a long track 3.5 miles is a lot to remember, but it's fun.

Hey there everyone,
I just sent PM's and e-mails to everyone with the contact info at the track, Donna will set everyone up. Please let me know if you didn't get either a PM or an e-mail from me.

Also, what's the consensus for places to stay, I was going to stay either at Mandalay Bay or Bellagio, but we can all stay in Pahrump at the Best Western also, or I can see if I can get rooms enough for all of us, unless the Vegas crew want us all to crash at their pads

What ever we do, we should decide soon, rooms in Vegas are scarce as it is for that weekend since it's NBA All Star weekend, and Pahrump reservations should be made quickly too.

Sweet. i didn't even realize that it was the same weekend. i will plan on attending some festivities, so i will likely stay in Vegas. I'd be happy to chip in and get some rooms together so we can all hang out. I also have a cousin in Vegas I may be able to stay with but it may just be funner to get rooms.

I didn't know there was a Spring Mountain on Gran Turismo, but if you're looking for videos, the only place I know that has some is on fellow Radical owner's site ( kmracing.net )

I hope it helps, but honestly, it's pretty tough memorizing a 3.5 mile track without driving it.

The Saddlewest is not a bad place, it's similar to Best Western.

We're going to have a BLAST ! A newbie NGS_E55 PM'ed me last night about going and I gave him Donna's info to call and see if he can get in.

NGS_E55, you should make your arrangements for lodging ASAP.

1st post. I did call Donna and got my name on the list. She mentioned all the local hotels are booked. Shelle55, still have extra room? dates/rates? I am reserved but haven't run it by the wife yet. Donna mentioned that there should be over 100 cars.

I just spoke w/ Donna as well.

I'm not sure if I can make it out for both days but I'm almost %100 sure I can make it out for 1 day. My friend is on the list as well. He'll be driving a 2005 Z06. I need to possibly get some different brake pads and tires before I head out. Maybe some PS2????

Actually, you should consider R compounds if you really want to fly.

Woah!! That's lots of cars to be on a track at the same time. I'll assume they will be breaking it up?

Don't worry:

1) There will be different run groups.
2) Not everyone runs when they can (unlike you Jangy)
3) 3.5 miles is alot of track, you can have over 20 cars on track and it won't get bunched up. You actually may like it because then you get to pass people.
4) Sunday's going to be even more fun, since most people leave after the first day.

I'm getting excited now!! Looks like I'm going to be staying at Mandalay Bay.
