9, 10R and 11R, you wont' be able to straight line them, but you can go almost flat depending on your setup.
14-15 - Turn in later that what you think to set you up for 15 since it's an exit speed corner.
17-18 - Turn in much later on 17 than you have on the map, if you turn in where you have indicated you'll end up in the dirt on the other side of 18, and turn in later in 18 to set up for the long straight into 1.
It's a fun track, very technical.

That map is not really correct in my opinion, it doesn't show the track as it should for picking lines, Here's my .02:

Thanks for the pointers...i just guesed from looking at the map... but as you know.. you have to actualy physicaly drive on it to find the line... im just getitng an idea on what to follow for now.... my next question is.... is there elevation changes?
hmm so 17-18 is something like the corck screw setup at laguna seca ? thanks

Hey Cyrus:
Can you give a heads up on how the runs are organized? Is it like an open track for a certain time for each group? I am wondering how many laps I will do between rests? My brakes heat up QUICK, so i wonder if I can make it past 5 or so laps without a break. I'm not big on pacing myself, so i prefer to go hard and stop and then again. Is that gonna work, or is it that i need to stay out once I leave?
By the way, my cousin has a 996TT straight stock. He wants to mod it out, so you p-Car guys may can help.

Hi Guys,
I haven't been around for a few days. I was in Phoenix for a Radical Race, tons of fun! I sucked until Sunday when I kinda got my groove, but then broke a half shaft! But it was fun. I'm sure we'll talk about it this weekend, since a few of the guys will be at the track.
Jangy: I don't know what the run groups are going to be like. Donna's handling them, and I'm not sure she has it all figured out yet. But regardless it's going to be fun. At the very least there will be two groups, a slow group and a fast group. Usually the slow group has passing only on designated straights with a point by. The fast group is all out, pass where you can, but be prudent. You crash into someone, you pay for it type of thing.
Ride alongs for the line, there will be plenty of opportunities to lead follow, or a few of us can get in cars with me and others who know the track and to see the lines.
Elevation changes, and turns 17-18. There are very little elevation changes, the track is in the desert, so it's pretty flat. That brings it's own challenges, since there are few visual cues. Turns 17-18 are not like the cork screw at Laguna, since there is no elevation change, and no banking like the exit of the cork screw, and it's slower speed.
I'm looking forward to the weekend, I'm probably leaving LA around noon, and will be staying at Mandalay Bay for the weekend.
Remember that there is a drivers' meeting on Saturday morning, I think it's at 8:00, you must attend, otherwise you can't go on the track, so where ever you stay or what ever your schedule is, please be sure to make it to the drivers' meeting.
We're going to have a GREAT time!

Cyrus - I will take you up on your offer to ride along for a couple of laps in your car.
Since that weekend is going to be so crowded maybe we should try to make plans ahead of time for Saturday night. Track shuts down at 4:30 right.
Mandalay has the great Vodka bar and I think the restaurant next door turns in to a club that all the guys will enjoy
Girls dancing above you on catwalks...The Big Apple inside New York New York can be fun with the live bands.
Maybe Vegas 55 can figure something out and I know Rudyrono was up for joining us....
Can't wait

Man, I hope my car will be ready by then!! I'm getting pissed, again.
Hey Cyrus: Can you let us know what kind of safety gear we need? Helmets, etc?
How many E55s are going? I wanna know who gets a spanking!!
Looks like Jangy on Vadim part 2!!

Call Donna, usually you'll be required a Snell-2000 helmet, but Donna has the last word on it.
I would also like to know how many E55's a get a final count just so we know who's going. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
Shelle, I think getting together on Saturday night would be a good idea, and you're right we should make reservations. I'm in, +1 and an additional Radical friend of mine that's staying at Four Seasons, that will join us.
So let's start a list on who's going:
1) CyE55 (Cyrus)
