Just kidding.

But here's a much better way to washer/link lowering. Grinding off the stock bolt and replacing them with much longer bolts.

Pros:
-This will allow up to about 8 washers (safely, 10 washers if you push your luck). That's more than a 2.5 inch drop from stock height.
-Costed me $60. Costs about $45 on OEMPartsDirect.
-Washer lowering is now SAFE!!

HAHA!! Copy cat!! I sent my fabbed set to Benz o Rama, but I had already done the longer bolt. I don't like the washers at all. I modified that piece that the bolt goes throu to make it longer. I agree, that method is MUCH safer and more versatile than the simple washer method.

I thought you only straightened out the bracket? Damn, I was gonna say these links > the Jangy links.

Not a bad deal vs. Renntech ELM.

Sorry, Jangy did both. hehe. The beauty of the ELM is the ability to adjust on the fly. With the bolts, you end up having to pick a height that fits all your needs. the ELM lets me tune as I want.

Not really. I can add washers and subtract them as I desire. It's not as easy as the ELM (just turn a few knobs), but I can lift my car and tune and set her back down within a matter of minutes.

Oh yeah, i know that. You know there is an adjustable piece for the rear? It is a two piece sliding unit.

Yes, that's how I lowered my rear. Is there one for the W211s?

Enter the part number without letters. I don't know if these links are the same to the W211s. I only have the part number for the W220s.
