Understood. Nah, I don't care who they send. That person's skill sets are not my problem. I do feel that Harmut doesn't care and that is a little bothersome, but oh well. On the other hand, I think Creative and Renntech customer service do care.

I think the real problem here is, he is having a bad case of buyers remorse and he wants his money back. He feels that if he raises enough stink, it will happen. Just like M5 KLR with the problems he had with an Evo pulley a year ago. It just does not work to air your grievances on a public forum. This would be better settled in private.
HAHA! Actually, I do have buyers remorse. I'm sorry I didn't get more!!

Just food for thought, it is impossible to undo the damages done from publishing inflamatory comments in a forum such as this. A little common sense goes a long way.

whew, just read thru the entire thread. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the install was the problem.
wanting renntech to address the software issue is one thing but wanting them to fix the pulley install is another. what exactly do you want them to do about the pulley? from what was discussed, the pulley is not faulty!
if you bought the pulley from creative, you ask creative for a refund if you're not happy, not renntech. it's like me buying a bag of dorritos from the supermarket and then asking Frito-lay for my money back. errr no. Go back to where you bought the product.

why just mine and not yours? I didn't come into this thread attacking you personally. You did do that with me. I find it odd that you want to belittle me and that is ok, but my overreacting to RennTech is not??
I had no issue with you until you acted holy and accused me of trying to cry for my money back when that was always an option.

yeah, frito-lay will just replace the bag you got. if renntech replaced the pulley, you'd be in the same situation.... left with a perfectly fine pulley w/ a bad install.

Keep in mind that a new pulley would need to be installed, so you aren't exactly stuck with a bad one.
I wanted RennTech to give me a little love and they did. End of that. Nothing has yet been addressed, but I am now comfortable that my crew will be taken care of, regardless of even if there is any blame to lay. that is all I ever wanted.

No hard feelings at all. This is a forum for opinions, and I appreciate you stepping up and defending yours. I'[m glad to have the bickering over and I'm ready to start the work to 600hp at the wheels!!
