I wish the steering wheel buttons for the radio would scroll the presets, not go up and down channels. But I voted for the lowering

The only star mod I have it the fan mod. I tried to get my MB tech to lower the car and he couldn't figure it out. He did lower but, it was really in the weeds and he couldn't figure out how to adjust it in small increments. It was all or nothing and as low as he had it, I had to choose nothing. If any of you guys know what I could tell my tech to try, please post up or shoot me an email.

I voted for the 10 degree adjustment, but there are actually a ton of things I'd like to be able to change that I'm certain can be done with STAR but usually result in blank stares from the service folks.

For the Audi's I've owned, I could hack around with the adaption channels of all of the following with inexpensive or free tuning products (Vag-Com or Lemmiwinks):
1. Baseline ignition advance
2. Fuel trim (accel and decel)
3. Idle torque additive offset (basically can be used to "load up" the engine at idle)
4. Idle speed
4. Lowering
5. Speed limiter

1 - 4 are basically things I'm certain I could use to get the ECU to engage the SC in anything but off-throttle conditions ('course, I'd then need to do an I/C cooling upgrade).

The seat position is no longer possible with MY06 up. However, if you could some how get it back, I'd love to have it on my car.

Jangy: I think your number one mod would be the -10C fan mod and the lowering..

You can also get into the adaptive stuff like mclarenm8d mentions but not alot of it is adjustable. I found the fuel compensation and ignition compensation to be useful... Just remember, BASE SETTING for fuel is the BEST.. LOL..

Thanks Victor. I remember the entire octane thing. I will be getting my ECU tuned by RennTech anyway, so that isn't really what I was planning. I was just trying to get a feel for the value added in getting a STAR system in the hands of a trained tech.

The Seat Mod works in the Wifes 2006 W211......
That was AFTER The Seat replacement to Heated/Ventilated/Multicontour/Massage and Drive Dynamic .....

Delete seat belt chime
Rt Outside mirror reverse function
Engine cooling fan mod
Shut off front side markers
Active fogs
Speed setting for winter tires

The Passive TPS...
That was Until I Installed the REAL TPS system

BTW Did the fuel settings..Its NOT worth it UNLESS One uses Race Fuel...

Steve tried it last year on my car last March and he couldn't find the option for the easy entry exit seats. Maybe I'll ask him again.

#1) -10 degree fan mod --In Florida this is a GREAT Mod!!
#2) Lowering -- would be nice but "80cent" washers work fine

Anyway to figure out how to get the tranny to shift a bit faster?? (Would not surprise me that we would pick-up .2 -.3 in the 1/4mi.)

Ever heard about the Speed Shift II programming offered by the AMG Performance Studio? Maybe worth looking into. It offers one extra shift mode.
