Going Kleemann
After much thought and debate... i came to a conclusion that the only viable option i have for my car is Kleemann. Let me tell u why..
1> In Dubai the only proper garage is kleemann's. The rest r all either dealers or just doing installs. Therefore no tech support.
2> Kleemann is offering a proper warranty for their upgrades ( 2 yrs) vs zero warranties for virtually any other company.
3> peace of mind !
So yes , i have dropped off my car today... i am getting the stage 2 done which includes, K's Pullies K's Headers K's ecu upgrade , air filters and downpipe with cat deletes.
It is costing me very close to $10,000. I am assuming its too much but like i said, where there is no proper competition, there is monopoly.
A sincere advice to people working in the aftermarket industry.... TARGET THE DUBAI MARKET.!!! Why??

2> Alot of ppl here are hungry for mods , have loads of money to do them, lil knowledge but have no aftermarket variety.
I'll be getting my car on the 22nd of Feb.
If anyone here has done complete Kleemann packages...I'll appreciate ur input.

Congratulations!!! You won't regret the choice you have made!!
...however, I don't agree with your quote on stats????
...I could be wrong but I recall an AMG marketing ad which said something about the US being AMG's biggest customer.....and also, a marketing exec saying "if LA were a country it would be AMG's second biggest customer"

Actually, the biggest market for AMG is southern California, but I know what you mean. The difference is that here we get a lot of unqualified hacks passing themselves off as "tuners" VS your market where there just isn't anybody to pick from. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be happy with the mods.

The market director for mercedes UAE told me that Dubai sells the most amount of AMGs in the world. Reason being that Dubai supplies these cars not only here but to the whole of middle east.
Anyways... my main point is, this place NEEDS more aftermarket support than it has now. It would be fruitful for both the customers and the companies.

They may sell a bunch in the Middle East but it is not even close.....

well, u might be right. after all i herd it from mercedes and they could be telling a different story to ppl here vs there.
BUT... lets focus on my kleemann upgrade here.. lol ( i am excited, i'll pick the car up in the next 13 hours!!)

Anyways... i have been driving this car for the past 7 hours ..( i think) (( with intervals ofcourse ))
Its AMAZING!! It pulls like crazy..
here in Dubai we have the "Jumeira" road. Its like the westheimer road in houston where everyone comes to race or cruise or coffee or chicks.....
anyways.. in my group, i am the fastest car now.And the fastest car i raced and smoked was the aston martin vanquish v12. The new z06 pulled 1 car lenght by third gear but its way better than 3 cars.!!
as u can see i am excited and caffeinated... so pls dont mind me.
the only problem now is traction, for which my friend suggested i get semi drags for the rears.
ofcourse i didnt go for the kleemann stickers... but i did get thier cap ..lol
hmm wat else...
o yea, i bought the new bmw 335 turbo for my daily driver..
thx for listening to my rant.

Jam, will take some and post but pics of wat? the engine bay? u can barely see the headers and the pulley. My car pic is posted at the pic thread however, last page. Its will remain the same unless i plan to change the wheels.
If i do change the wheels what would u recommend that looks better than what i have?
