Question Are these tire sizes ok??? HELP...

Are 245/35/20's and 275/35/20's ok for 8.5x20 in the front and 9.5x20 in the rear? They are Conti.'s for $600. Really good price but do you guys think there would be any issue on fitment?? Thanks in advance!

I would think you would need to run 245/30/20s and 275/30/20s but i think 245/30/20 and 275/25/20 is more popular.

Really? I was intially going to run 255/30/20 and 285/25/20 just because it seemed to be the best choice from the research I did here on the forum. The only reason I'm asking about the different sizes is because I can get them brand new for next to nothing.

Most people that run the 25's in the rear use 285/25's,not 275/25's from what Ive seen. The 285 are'nt very pot hole friendly at all though.

Can anyone comment on the tire sizes I'm asking about? Thank for all of your input by the way.

Id say the ratios might be off somewhat, but if you really want a tire guys opinion then ask this same question in the tire/wheel section and Luke from Tirerack can help you out.

You will raise your front by 4% and your rear by 9%. Anyone will tell you I don't like it.

Thanks bro, was waiting for you to chime in. I don't think the equation your using is exactly accurate though since you have to take into consideration the stretching of the tire by .5" in the front and the same in the rear. Not sure if it's enough to make a drastic difference though...

Your stock 245/40/18 are 25.7" in diameter.
These tires are 26.8" front and 27.6" rear and will make your car look ridiculous, like a dragster with the rear end higher than the front. The front tire will probably rub against the plastic lining when you turn.
