Here's a low 11' pass bone stock....
Different driver 10.85 @ 129 pass..

Actually Ricker...the most important thing for you to remember is all those Z06 drivers had Brylcreem in their hair which gives them at least a 5mph increase in trap speed due to a much slipprier profile. Now if the Z06 jockey were to open up his shirt to expose the hair that would even the playing field....I want an 07 Z0 so bad...found one on EBay in Atomic Orange...looks like the old Corvette Copper....pretty cool but boatload of dough.

I've seen Ranger run his vette at MIR and Capitol. But how many vette owners do you know that can drive like that? Its a small percentage. And even Ranger doesnt put the car down the track like that consistently. Last time I went he had a C6 Z06 and was havin trouble on multiple passes. I still give props to the vettes though

Just call em as I see em !!! Its a pretty sick site to see one try and come out of the hole with **** flying out....new stuff I'm sure is much beefier though.

This is funny...1st you guys say "Oh I've never seen a stock C5 Z06 run an 11.80"
"Prove it" etc.. Then I prove it w/multiple slips etc.. next you say "Oh well that's not an average driver" "he's a pro driver" "nobody else can do it so it's negated"
These guys aren't pro's, there owners just like you and me, yes the masses can't replicate there skills down the 1/4, none the less it is being done by NON pro drivers in STOCK form, get over it..

I love that Ricker compares our 2 ton sedans that holds 5 to an American sports icon. I really do, at first I can see how it may seem to be a challenge but really its all apples and oranges in regards to interior (for the most part you have to agree the vette pales), safety, comfort, handling, and of course price. Performance (straight line and ever so slight curves ) is a toss up depending on mods, models, conditions, drivers, etc.
Its a compliment when you see 4 door Benzos racing sports cars and the outcome is unknown, close, or we prevail. We could have all bought vettes based on the prices we paid for our 55's/63's but what fun would that be? Id rather have both or actually a 997TT instead of the vette and I dont care what is faster in the quarter.

Only replying to this cuz i saw vette vs e55 ...
when i was stock i raced my friends stock c6z06... he beat me by three cars.
now with kleemann stage 2 i am running with him till 110 km/h and he leaves me 1 car lenght on HIS 3rd gear...
i respect the z06 and when i get some extra $ .. i prob will buy it!

I dont got you all wrong, I know you respect our cars thus the posts and the interaction over here. I understand your respect for the E55 as you understand my respect for the vette, especially that stupid fast one called the Z06.

how do you figure it's weird? go to dragtimes.com and check my timeslip...have you ever been to the dragstrip...what did your car run? that night my car ran 11.84, 11.89, 11.91, 12.02 and 12.06. your weird! when the car was brand new (3 days to be exact) it ran 12.01.
