how do you figure it's weird? go to dragtimes.com and check my timeslip...have you ever been to the dragstrip...what did your car run? that night my car ran 11.84, 11.89, 11.91, 12.02 and 12.06. your weird! when the car was brand new (3 days to be exact) it ran 12.01.

Let us not forget you can post time slips from the East Coast tracks which have a totally different DA then tracks on the West Coast. The one I just saw posted said 175 DA for the Vette. Different tracks and different weather conditions are going to yield 
different times for the same car.
Just the fact that this 4 door leather clad mini limo can hang and or beat with the is an engineering feat in itself.

The new C6 Z06 has been ran BONE STOCK 1/4 10.85 I'll get the slip and post it, others are getting low 11's now since we are talking about some great driving 6 speeds

)this is a near 2 tonne excutive saloon automatic gearbox (nearly always 1 sec slower down the strip) doing simply amazing times for a stock car.
not forgetting all the luxury audio/visual/telecomms features the auto seats, the safety, the 4 doors the big boot etc..
the vette is a stunningly fast car but its a supercar vs a supersaloon not a fair comparison but the big merc more than holds up.. a couple of hundreths per second dont really mean much.
tune up the amg though and its

Absolutely true. That's why I posted that I have never seen any stock c5 Z06 run in the 11's here in "Vegas" because it just doesn't happen at this track. The C5 Z06 is a very fast car. I love'm but "stock vs. stock" it doesn't top the E55.

Treynor from this site, owned both said they were pretty even giving the edge to the 65, if memory serves me correctly, with = driver in each they'd win or loose equally w/65 garnering more wins due to consistant flawless auto trans..
