turn the heat all the way up and let the fan ran at the fastest possible setting, close all the windows, let that run for thirty minutes. Then, just run fresh air through the ducts for another 30 minutes.

if that doesnt work try bg's fridge-a-fresh or if its a bad case try a local shop that can run fridge-a-clean through your system. its mold growing in your ductwork most likely. no big deal easy fix just find a bg shop.

It's probably your charcoal filters in need of replacement. Check Ebay for the cheapest deal.

ac odor

take your vehicle to the dealer, advise them of the odor, several bulletins out
on all model mbs for odor-most common repair is replacement of entire heater box, on occasion we will run a treatment through the system, last 1 month clients back complaining again-

This is an old one. None of those remedies listed above work more than 24hrs. Dealers can't fix it either. Changing filters, anti-mold, all useless. Some cars smell, some don't, just like their drivers.

Here is a remedy that works for my stinker: when you park the car for the night, tilt the sun roof and hit the REST button.
It will blow the fan over the evaporator and heaters until they are dry and nothing will grow down there any more.
In the morning it's fresh as a daisy. Don't do it during the day or every time you return to you car it will feel humid an musty.

CAUTION: do it only once at night. If you are tempted to repeat the treatment before you go to bed , just to make sure, you will run your battery flat, like I did!
