Finally went limp!!
I did the sneaky ECU reset last night and headed to a buddy's house to watch Randy Couture Hand Tim Sylvia his *** in a proper beating 
On the way home around midnight and no one on the freeway, I decided to really see if the reset had a noticeable affect and HOLLY ****E!!! I buried the gas pedal 4 times and held it steady for 3-4 seconds each time. I went to do it again a fifth time and.... NUTTIN!!! NUTTIN at all! it really does feel like it's been castrated!!
So...does this "S/C crap-out" generate any kind of codes that the Dealer can see so they can correct the situation under warranty? Have any of you gotten this issue fixed thru warranty? Am I correct in the understanding that the IC pump needs to be replaced with a newer generation unit?

that's the problem, an intermittant i/c pump failure doesn't always store a fault code. it will get replaced under warranty but you may have to tell you sa what to do if they can't figure it out.

Randy cleaned the floor with that big oaf!! he started it with a crazy punch right after the opening bell that knocked him on his **** and it was all downhill from there. it was the first time in more than 10 years of watching Tim Sylvia that I actually saw fear and apprehension in his eye!! it was NUTS!
