is there an 030 or similiar package for E63's?
I know that the cls63 have it for $9500 but I did not see it on the MB website for the E. I have been driving an e63 around this week and was wondering about the 030.
If there is not that is total BS.
I have an e55k and am thinking about making the swith to the 63. the tranny is light years ahead IMO and all but 0-30 it seems the 63 is better and even that is not always better due to bad traction on the 55.

I am not aware that there is anything for the W211. There wasn't one for the E55, just CLS55. You can piecemeal most of those parts, but they are not available as an 030 package for E-Class. They are available as options (ie, LSD) in Europe from AMG...which doesn't really help you here.

Anyone confirm this will be available in the US as well? I hope so.
By the way, did you notice in the article above that the CLK63 AMG Performance Package includes just a set of floormats??
CLK 63 AMG:
* Velour floor mats with AMG lettering
Wonder if that's a typo

From what I heard, the E3 will be available with an 030 package as an option in the 1st Q of '07. I was also told that the E55 guys could buy it for their cars as an accessory package for about $10K. I'm not so sure it is worth it or what will be on it.
The ECU mod (from MB) would be nice.
The CLS control arms and brakes force 19" rims, which is a no no for me.
The LSD is a 40% lock on the E63 and 30% on the E55. either way, Quaife is better for me.
The rims are just ok.
What else is there, really?
For 10K, I'd rather piecemeal my own tuner setup.

well i am sure a tuner could do a decent job but I would rather have it factory to start off, and go from there if possible.

E63 030 Package
My understanding is that the E63 performance package is already available to order on new E63s. They call it P30 package instead of 030 like on the CLS.
I think your local dealer should be able to order it with no problems if you don't mind waiting until July for actual delivery date.
Please give us an update if you confirm any dates, prices, etc...

030 package is not showing yet on 2008 E63s ordering guide.
Ordering of 2007 E63s has been closed.
It is available for CLS63 and it has:
- Limited Slip
- 186 mph limiter
- Nurburgring suspension
- Wider rear tires/wheels and body work
- Two piece 19'' wheels.
I would guess for E63 it would be similar.

It is not yet released (as Vadim said). It was supposed to be by first quarter of '07, but nothing is set yet. I do not know about Euro cars. My sources are only in MBUSA.
From what I am told, the E55 package will be available as an accessory package then, too. I am trying to see if the parts can be broken out (since i want suspension), but we'll see.
The big question for those of us that simply want to add it on is:
1 - Is suspension available (what is actual difference? Is it programming or literal shock swaps?)
2 - Is the ECU mod available for the US? I know factory cars will get it but can I send my ecu for the same?

I also happen to like the wheels! If what I saw in fact goes on the e63 p30 package they are similiar to the current e63 wheels but with like rivets all the way around
there must be a better name than rivets but it is early the morning after st paddy's day. thanks for the info fellas.

I just checked NetStar. I have two E63s with 030 packages in production.
One Flint Grey/Black, the other is Silver/Black - both have 030, P2, Ipod kit, rear sunshades, voice control and trunk closer. No MSRP at this time.
Availablility should be late May.

I assume they will be 2007 models?...late may delivery... I might wait for 2008. when would they first spring up? THANKS!

E63 Performance Package Wheels and Tires
5-spoke multi-piece 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels
---> Front: 8.5 x 18 ET 38, tire size 245/40 R18
---> Rear: 9.5 x 18 ET 44, tire size 265/35 R18
I'm not sure about the weight? I couldn't find any details on it.
About the 2008 models, my understanding is that there will be absolutely no difference between 2007 and 2008 E63s? Can someone please confirm that?
