I would of expected more to be honest... that is what a E55 with 125 shot or a CL65 with ECU upgrade will run....this is not including a z06 and a GT500 with a bolt on or two......not impressed....not for the coin ... no way...Looks and rarity maybe but not what I would expect in today's realm of Exotics and semi-Exotics......I am sure the weight is an issue with this beast.... all Benz's tip the scales as we know..they are built well I will say

that's the point, it runs that stock.... you can mod anything to make it quicker.... nobody said the SLR was a bargain....
as far as todays exotics, only a few cars can perform that way stock..... Ford GT, Enzo, CGT.....

the Z06 is incredible.... it outperforms just about anything...... I'm waiting for the 600HP Viper.... I've had my GTS for 8 years and 600HP stock has me ready to go for the new one....

Just for comparison stock ZO6's on stock rubber run 11.60's to 11.80's at 124 and change at Moroso.

Nice viper fikse. My father used to have the same one. It is probably the most memorable car that I think we ever had. Not to mention one heck of a head turner.. He always said when the new coupe comes out he would buy one right away but unfortunately he hurt himself and can no longer ride in sports cars.

I'm in Pembroke Pines.... I went to FSU with Keith and lived in the same complex.... we used to race each-other back then...

I have ran an 11.5 in my bone stock C6 Z06 and I have a best trap of 126 mph.
That was my 4th pass on the car ever. If I can run the car 4-5 more times I am sure I can get it to run 11.39-11.4x@126+ mph. There have been more than a dozen of people that ran 11.3-11.4 in a bone stock C6 Z06 in stock runflats.
Does that take away from the greatness of the SLR? No, but it does have an influence on the undeniable stellar performance of the Z06!!
I am also very excited for the 08 Viper and looking forward to its performance stats.

If price was the only determining factor in the purchase of a car, Ferrari would be out of business.
