11.850 @ 118.17 Bone Stock!!
Made my first run and the car really exploded down the track. It felt like a perfect run. Still, I was pretty shocked to see what the slip said - 11.850 @ 118.17 mph with a 1.760 60' time. Ran once more about 45 minutes later and ran an 11.892 @ 117.72 mph with a 1.766 60' time. My car weighed 4322 after the first run, with a half tank of gas.
I am having trouble scanning the slips because the print is too light. I will play with my copier in the office on Monday and see how I can enhance the print. Then I will scan the slips for drag times. Here are the particulars on both runs:
60' 1.760 1.766
330' 4.986 5.005
1/8 7.645 7.670
mph 92.21 92.03
1000' 9.933 9.967
1/4 11.850 11.892
mph 118.17 117.72
Needless to say, I am quite pleased.
I am particularly impressed with the gain in mph between the 1/8 and the 1/4 - almost 26 mph.

Hey John Ship the car to my house, I will sacrifice some garage space and take good care of it until you show up.
I don't think you have it all that bad out there, Jrocket.
None of the guys had arrived yet. I was one of the first cars on the track. There may be some video of my second run, but I am not sure.
I know I missed the documented record by "this" much. I still can't believe how fast this car moves. Even my Z06 friends (it was a Corvette Challenge Day) were shaking their heads in admirable disbelief at the slip.
Thanks. Ever since I changed my technique, I have been posting 1.7s pretty regularly it seems. I am running Michelin PS2's in the stock 265 size. I do a burnout in the waterbox before I run. People think it is strange, but it seems to work for me.
