I will put them on the eCommerce page on our website once I get the production pieces back.. I will have half Carbon and half piano black.

I just need to make a special base to work on ALL the E55.. its not year related.. its MODEL related.. All E55 have different mounting base sizes than the other cars. Problem is the buttons only are sold with the steering wheel. .I cant order the buttons from MB separately.. So, in order to get the factory to be able to duplicate them i need to disable a car and take the buttons out... that's what the issue was.

The screws are on the backside of the steering wheel.. the only way you are going to see them is if you stick your head inbetween the dash and the wheel.

They are also at the base which is nowhere near where your fingers will be touching.

I'll take install pics once they are in the car.

My friend who has been helping me to quarterback this project with the manufacturing plant has still not returned home. That is why the installation photos and updates have not been forthcoming.

He just emailed me and said he is expected to be home next week and will test fit ASAP and send me the pics.

If these will fit my W211 E55, im in for the carbon fiber. I've wanted these paddels for so long, and i never saw this thread before. I was actually contemplating getting an E63 steering wheel for my car. I cant wait til this project is done.

My buddy who was supposed to test fit them has been pretty busy and didnt get around to it.. I asked him to ship the paddles to the California location so we can test fit them down there..

I may install the CF paddles in the CLK63 first...

The paddles are now in Vadim's possession in California. Since we have a greater range of vehicles to test fit down there, he will do the test fitting.. Hopefully we'll get some pics and info soon..

We are swamped right now trying to get cars out so please bear with us...
