It's not officially dead, but I've pumped in alot of dough and am trying to find a way to make these as economically as possible and not lose my shirt in the process..
I really dont want to purchase 100 sets of these (the minimum) and find there is no one there to buy them.
I am still working on it...

Well I betcha if you did make a 100 sets, you could sell quite a few here and also on eBay. That is unless they are extremely high. I know that the OEM paddles from the CLK63 can be retrofitted to the C55 for around 100 bucks.

Vrus,
How about you just start taking deposits. If you hit some critical mass
that you feel comfortable going forward with, you could place the order.
I think you will easily receive 50 orders within a few days. People on this
site have money to burn on things they find valuable, and IMHO, these
paddles are on that list.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

SL500, ML350, 2 GL550's (on order)
I am pretty sure on my ML350, that one button is up and the other is down. I have used it many times. I don't think each button toggles both up and down. The left goes down and the right goes up.

Lack of Interest
This thread has had "only" 7420 hits so far, so obviously there is a huge amount of interest in this project..
However, it is unfair to keep pushing VRUS to put his money into it over and above what he has already done until we put together some sort of a list and a "trust" fund with enough deposits to float it.

I've tried to ask Victor via email and had my a/f install shop ask about them. They said for some reason they would only fit non-AMG vehicles w/ existing button shifters (?). It's second had information, so maybe something got lost in the translation.
Whatever the case...If they are ever available for the E55, I'm only a paypal click away from sending full payment.

I want a set too. Aluminum with + - would be great, but I will take them in black if that's the only way I can get them. I have looked at the button shifters on the C class, and I think that these should fit my GL.
Let me know.

Thanks Rafal!! I appreciate it..
How can we coordinate this so I can help you guys get what you want, and so that I dont lose my shirt in the process??
I have to provide a P.O. for 100 sets in order to get this to market for a reasonable cost otherwise it will be too expensive for anyone to purchase.

Why not just start another list of committed buyers? I'm willing to send full payment to get things started...

PS Regarding, the coated manifolds on your site...can they be painted gloss black instead of the candy apple red? If they can, I'm interested!
