Dyno Results - Bone Stock

Finally took my car to get dyno'd. I can't figure out how to resize the scan to make it fit here, so I posted it here:

http://www.dropshots.com/zoomin.php?...070414&cimg=12

Car put down 419.11 rwhp and 455.82 rwtq. SAE corrected. These are about average for our cars. (Uncorrected, the numbers were 438.08 and 470.47, respectively.)

As you can see from the graph, the A/F was off the charts above 6,000 rpm. I know the factory program is designed to protect the motor, but I was surprised to see it dive so far down to 10:1. Imagine how much more there is to uncork with a modest tune.

Oh, by the way, my engine was built by "P. Pankratz"

Thanks, guys.

The pulls were at TT Performance in Passaic, NJ. They were done in 3rd gear, as 4th supposedly hits the speed limiter.

They accidently ran one in 2nd (kickdown) and it showed only 391 rwhp. I would have thought that 2nd would show higher pwr, but guess not.

ProjectC55 - thanks for getting the scan on the thread. I have neither the skill nor the patience to play with these things.

SleeperX - I keep going back and forth about mods. Maybe next year, if I still own it.

Yes, you can unlock more power by leaning out the fuel mixture at high rpm's, and its a relatively cheap mod. I recomend also getting the johnson pump for the IC at the same time. MB does it to cool the engine off.

So is the view that I should have run the pulls in 4th gear and just hit the speed limiter? Would that have shown higher or lower readings?

Most pulls are made in 4th gear. The ratio is 1:1,I believe. Not sure if your numbers would be off by much or at all.Im guessing maybe a few points lower?

My car was built by "P. Pankratz" as well but doesn't run as strong, so he must have been having a good day when he built yours
