I noticed my C230 loaner car has AMG exhaust tips!! I'm slapping that badge on there before I return it. 
I get the "to each his own" thing, but in reality, that doesn't work for me. An extreme example to prove a point is that you could say that about people pretending to be a religion, then going out and committing horrible acts. Like someone wearing Christian things, saying Christian things, and going out and killing people. That just doesn't sit well with the rest of us Christians.
The same concept here.
(please note that the example was an extreme one just to relay a concept)
