fake E55
Saw some putz in a an e class with an E55 and AMG badge on the trunk. Single exhausts drving south on Alton road in Miami Beach. Who do these losers think they are fooling. It was a white one in case anyone else sees this dork.

lol, i just saw a black e39 dinan m5 that was fake. it even had e60 m5 side vents. just like your encounter, the single exhaust outback revealed it was probably only a 525.

There's a C230 in my office parking lot that was de-badged of all C230 stuff, and only has 'AMG' on the passenger side of the trunk. It also has AMG wheels I think from the SL65.
I have been so tempted to put a post-it note on the back of the trunk just to the left of the AMG badge and my post-it would say, "Not an..."

There's a C230 in my office parking lot that was de-badged of all C230 stuff, and only has 'AMG' on the passenger side of the trunk. It also has AMG wheels I think from the SL65.

I left a note on one such fake AMG and told him to take that **** off and that he was a loser.
Funny thing is that I had some ******* neighbor that would blast crappy techno music late and I had my ex go over and tell them to turn that **** down as I was too pissed. They did a bit, but kept it up so I started punching the **** out of the wall.
The guy comes over and is like here's my number just call me and have me turn it down. I told him I wasn't interested in ever calling him and that I should never have to do so. I guess from my tone and speach he then asked "Where you the one that left that note on my benz?"
I said yes and that you're a loser, told him to keep that **** down or I would have him evicted, and slammed the door in his face. I never had a problem after that.
He never did take off the badge btw- LOSERS!!!

Seems to be a common theme everywhere. A guy in the office building next door to mine bought a brand new 07 S550. This 
genious took off the "0" to "make" an '07 S55. He also added an AMG badge...
The worst part though was the V12 badges stuck on the side of the car, and crookedly might I add!
He thought me and one of my loan officers were messing with his car and came out to confront us. We then told him what we were doing and proceeded to hysterically in his face.
Needless to say, I have yet to see that "S55" in my parking lot again.

I just remembered another one a friend told me. There was a fiero "diablo" kit car that was fairly well done and my friend and another buddy were checking it out. The guy rolls up to his ride and is like is there a problem? My friend states he's just checkin it out.
The guy tells him to stay away from his "lambo". At this point my friend calls him out and says, "Sure, no problem, I'll stay away from your 6 cylinder fiero piece of **** all day- Later! Some people man!

At least the guy in my garage took off the C230 badge when adding the AMG badge.

I saw a poser the other day at a stop light in a silver C230 that put C55 and AMG badging on it and had the C55 spoiler. Single exhaust, no AMG brakes. He took off fast when the light turned green; I decided to show him what I thought of his 'C55' and punched it and smoked him, driving my 07 Camry SE V6. They shouldn't just sell those AMG badges to anybody. Some people will beat these cars in a race and think that they took a genuine AMG car.

You all need to calm down...its just a stupid badge... In my opinion not really posing if they just stuck the AMG badge on there as long as they have AMG parts... same thing with Renntech or Brabus... Just a tuner... Now if they rebadge the S550 to S55 then that is posing... again to each there own and this is just my opinion... Car enthusiest know what AMG's are and for those who dont, really dont care......

So should I put AMG badge on my E550 given it has my E55's wheels and E63's bumper and spoiler? Even the cars came off dealer lots with AMG sport package don't have that badge. I would hate to see the fact that some guy in an EVO or STi beat my E550 "AMG" and laugh at me after. Only RICERS put AMG badge on non-AMG'd up cars.

I think if the car isn't a factory amg don't put the badge on. I had one such person argue with me that it was OK because he had the wheels. It's still lame. The badge has to do with the model and what it is not what 1 part or more is stuck on the car. Still LAME

I agree it is lame. No argument here. But my view on this is that AMG is a tuner of MB. They tune a stock car to become a super car. I view AMG as the same as Brabus or Kleeman. Again, this is just my opinion and to each there own. I own'd a E55 AMG. As a previous AMG owner I really dont care what is on the other car....if it got ballz, lets run!

So what's the point of the AMG badge if your car didn't come out of the factory as an AMG? What are they trying to accomplish with that badge sitting on the trunk? It's posing to me.

I raced the other night BMW M 760 had V12 badges on the side, not sure even if it was 760, maybe just 745, had 760 wheels though.... he better had good explanation to tell his girlfriend, what happend to his only one in the whole world M 760. probably was running on half prototype engine .... oh what a shame, I had fun though !
